Thanks for checking it out brother, the goose bumps are real with most his work. The accent is a bit jarring (most aussies arent this strong) but once you get used to it hes borderline genius with the pen. Has a track where he uses the same 9 syllable multi rhyme pattern almost every bar for 2 verses, and its so effortless you can hardly pick it. (The only reason Im writing this). For something a bit lighter check out "ChillinIT - Fire in the Booth". First aussie (not at all a slur) to bless the booth, and he kills it.

More Aussie rappers would cool. I don't know their scene at all but if this guy is anything to go by, there be gold in them there hills! I did know that there is respect for the Aussie scene among some of the UK rappers (the older ones, at least, anyway). I am pretty sure that some toured over there, as well. Mic Righteous defo did so there must be an appetite for it down there. There is a lot of culture common to the UK and Australia beyond just cricket, rugby and binge drinking. We take the piss out of each other ruthlessly but there is love underneath it. I think the sense of humour is similar (dry) and we really don't like people who get too big for their boots.

Definitely lots of love for the UK scene here in Aus.. hip hop followed the same path in both countries where we developed our own sound and emulating US accents and gun play etc was frowned upon, because its just not real here... so lots of similarities with rappers rappers who focus on the art rather than the image. And the UK/Aus collabs are still going strong these days. We def need more.. but few of my favs to check out. - Wombat x Devlin - Adrenaline - Bliss n Eso feat. Jehst - I Can - Bliss n Eso feat. Motley - Party at my Place - Children of the Damned feat. Brad Strut - Just Drink - Hilltop Hoods feat. Brother Ali & Maverick Sabre - Live and Let Go (not UK rapper of course, but pretty close, and amazing track)
