Third-place women's race winner Jordan Hasay, the first American woman to finish the 2017 Boston Marathon, said she ran the race for her mother, who passed away in November.
I've watched her come up through the years. The great gift I always thought Teresa gave to Jordan was her ability to stay focused on her goals. And mom and dad have raised a very smart cookie in this business. Just start back in junior high and connect the dots, one smart move after another.
3rd Place at Chicago with a time slightly more than 2 minutes faster than Boston. She was #4 all-time by US women. Now she is #2 all-time. I got up at 5AM this morning to watch this live in Chicago. Jordan came with her race face on today!
