Yeah but the warriors also had other big guys could rebound like Bugort . I think that was his name 🤔 and the other big that had footwork,play defense,and could rebound. I can't think of his name either . The point is,they had guys that would compliment green style of play. The Pels have a empty hole in that center position

I think you have to separate the Griff statement. The phrase "...I know folks think we have to invest in the center position" and the "We're actually excited abt the group". Griff isn't dumb, but he does play the game publicly. Take those as 2 different statements as he didn't really say they weren't going to address, only that they were excited abt the group. I may be the only one thinking like that, but I listen to what he says and what he doesn't.

He can't be honest because the league kind of knows he is desperate. If Willie would have treated JV better than we could have used the Theis $ on him & paid him what amounts to $7Mill while you look for the ideal 5. Now the only way is to trade BI after he & his agent realizes he is not Steve Austin, the $50 Million Dollar Man (mid 70s TV show). A short term extension of 2 years at $38M is what BI is worth & that is tradeable.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just wanted you guys to know I really watch the games up close and personal A true Pelicans fan A true NBA fan.Who knows they could have left the team alone and ran it back! Z ,BI, CJ ,Trey, Jose and Naji all missed significant time and we still won 49 games. Maybe a true PG we could have used and we let Jonas go a walking double double and he could score!
