Fair play he had more impact in the game than I remember - he’s really hit his straps lately

He really would be best at fullback. He needs the option to step either way. He is constrained by the touchline when on the wing.

Not so sure. In this game where he is attacking with ball in hand he only has a touch line beside him in maybe 3 of 15 or 16 efforts and one of the 3 times he has a touch line to work with he actually scores a try. He has a skill for drawing back in and finding space.

@@paolozmmHe does a fine job on the BBC wing but the magical performances that we saw early on now only come when he is at FB. Against Munster in the URC last year and the bulls this year spring to mind. I just think we could be limiting an incredible talent.

Would need to improve on his high ball catching, otherwise would be excellent

He has this really bad habit of over playing sometimes. At 58 seconds he had already beaten the player and steps back in field and gets tackled. I know he was being rushed down but he should have just backed himself and ran straight and hard and tried to fend off the player coming at him. And he doesn’t score many tries either. It’s a shame really because he honestly looked like the best prospect I had seen in years and nowadays he’s just kinda flashy and gets the odd try here and there, but in big games rarely has valuable contributions.

He does still overplay a bit but I think he has matured greatly and is much better defensively now, good shout to get a run at the Ireland squad imo.

He tends to overplay it but you can't fault him on try scorer. 44 tries for leinster

I mean thats just wrong. At 58 seconds Cooney has him covered on the touchline and would have smashed him into touch losing possession and territory. He did very well in the situation and this lark of him over playing is tired imo. He would have been fried by the coaching staff for giving away a line out so easily. Shows he has matured as a player.
