The people living in their houses dont care what their country is called. Regardless of the name of their country, they reserve the right to remain in their houses but israel forced them out For example. Most of my sudanese fathers' siblings were born before sudanese independence. Before 1956 it was a british colony. Before 1956 and after 1956 the family house remained the same. It would he unjust for anyone to expel them from the family home after 1956 just because the name of the country changed. This applies to the sudanese, to palestineans, or anyone anywhere.

I disagree. I think this answer shows a lack of understanding of how this region works, even once you disregard the pure hate factor. Yes, he should speak about that, but also about Palestinian children, women and elderly, still dying of bombs, missiles, hunger, dehidration... Do you know what the Israeli ban on medicines caused? Doctors are performing C-sections on women without anesthesia, cutting children's limbs without anesthesia. Treatable patiens and wounded dying of sepsa as there are no antibiotics left. Or what the Israeli ban on fuel caused? Babies in incubators have died, patients who need kidney dyalisis have died. Or what their indiscriminate bombing is causing? Thousands of families decimated, hundreds deleted from the citizens registry, hundreds of children left completely alone with no siblings or other family members, sitting hungry and trirsty for days in hospital corridors. Some of those children will one day create a new Hamas. That's a proven recipe of radicalization.

At about the 6 minute mark in this interview the effect of the media images is mentioned. I am old enough to have experienced the Viet Nam war. (I am Canadian not an American). I watched the media reports every night for years, and I feel that the U.S. lost the war & harmed the returning American troops because of their visually graphic reports. I have met and worked with Vietnam vets, Canadian & American, Dresden, Germany survivors, nothing nice happens in a war, just ask those that are asked (or drafted) to participate!

They (Palestinians) don't have a generational right to return! There was no Article in the UN in '48 on a right to return. It was established in 1951 and doesn't address refugee status on war. It also excludes those refugees "crimes against peace" therefore, Palestinians today are just stateless people, not refugees. 1951 Conference Status of refugees. Yep. Where was Jordan Peterson for the last 50 years when Israel was controlling fuel, food, and water in Gaza? Where was Jordan when Israeli forces attaacked West Bank Palestinians and brutally took their land, farms and houses? Where was Jordan when Palestinian men, women and childen were held in Israeli prisons without any charges? As a psychologist he should have understood what a pressure cooker environment leads to.

I am not a Jew nor Arab, I am a human. I am sure Dr Peterson is a human too (as all of us, imperfect), he is also a very knowledgeable person, expert on behavior, a man of faith, who teaches and influences many other people. To become a good leader, one must first conquer his own body and mind. It is good to be a sensitive human, it is not good to react (out of unregulated emotions, especially publicly) instead of responding to a situation, which is not even his personal matter. How can a person preach about God and Bible and say "give them hell"? Practically..Who are "they", how do we find and recognize them and what will we do with them? Dr. Peterson, there are no "them" and "us"..there are only humans who live the Old Testament (anger, fear, revenge) and those who understand and live by the New Testament. May our conscience be our guide! With ❤ and respect Rev.Moro May God bless you with inner peace.

@@themezoner1349 depnds on the land ownership. their claim vs israel’ re the land is just different and cant be reconciled. Muslims dont take biblical history as valid. then israel offered 7 or so proposals to them for peace but palestine government rejected all. Speaking of the oppressed, arabs also oppress their own kind and killing each other. No news no big protests when 11k children in yemen died. Then when comes to jews, it blows out of proportion. As long as jews exist, there may not be peace at all…unfortunate. I dont think jews will extinct. Come to think about it, it is ridiculous - israel’s land is very small compared with their neighbours yet arabs still want to take that land. Whats up with that? Is it because there is hidden ark of covenant lying below?

Israel refuses to go back to 1967 border, or borders defined by the UN Partitiin Plan, while blaiming Palestinians for not accepting only 29% of land. Other Arab countries are not their home, so that argument is ridiculous. Pelestine was not even the first choice for the state of Israel. Argentina and few other countries were discussed. Palestinians did not have a state, but they always had organized community life, living peacefuly with Jews and Christians until the Zionist occupied them. Imagine if i.e.Florida was chosen and you have to disposses all Floridans to make room for the settlers. And then they decide Florida is not enough and start expanding to Georgia. Not to mention the cruelty and treating those who remained as second grade citizens

I'm iranian and I'm just suprised by how much he knows about Iran's involvement in it and it's reasons. Almost no western media points at it. His knowledge on different subjects is just immaculate.
