@soyuer, that's pretty much it. I mean, when we realized our kids just sound the same or parroting what we say, is exactly the same way how we have been looking up to our parents, likewise nowadays with millennial, what happens is they look up to immature peer groups, so their thoughts and beliefs are fragile, hence they need a safe space, in other words, they aren't ready to face the world in its cruelest forms, hence that's where the identity politics comes in, to safe guard these kid's safe space, and it'll do more harm to these kids than good, hence many commit suicide and depressed, and most of these extreme left wing university kids alienate these so-called identity politics soon after they leave universities and come to realize the harm that system had done for them.

@@anitachouhan7742 I don't really read in order, I read books simultaneously cause I cannot focus on reading one book at a time. I've read Brave New World by Aldus Huxley, 1984 and Animal Farm by George Orwell, the abriged version of Gulag Archipelago, Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl -- I really like this one -- I'm trying to read Carl Jung's Man's Search of a Soul, but I find it to be a difficult read as well as Nietzsche's Beyond Good and Evil. Then there is of course 12 Rules for Life, and Maps of Meaning. I'm trying to expand to other authors as well. If and when you read these books, you will figure out where Dr. Peterson is coming from based on his lectures and public speeches and stand on social issues pertaining to Postmodern ideology.

Yes, Jordan going within self is key..powerful. For me, reading Jungs writing many years ago he made me cry. Because his words were transforming. He was a man of great insights but one of higher consciousness. Maybe a mystic? Correct about educating one's self. I have been listening to world teachers daily for 40yrs. Because I didn't like what I saw as a child. Living in a smaller town at 14yrs..I thirst for change. But after many years- realized change starts within you first. When we raise our personal consciousness we can only raise the collective consciousness of our world. Just maybe if we could raise our individual consciousness we could change history. Because peace is a state of being from a raised consciousness. My ancestors were Indigenous they had no books. But had great wealth of knowledge. Their way of life was lived with the interconnection of all life. For me, in my many years of research segregation divided our world through our thoughts and actions. It being war, relationship, race, religion, caste, all division -lacking the interconnection to all of life. If we harm something we harm another and self. Still learning but become humbled by it. Stay blessed 🙌

Thanks for honoring my freedom of speech. Jordan's perception of "highest good" is Christianity ... either Catholic or Protestant ... as it can't BE both. Religious theology divides devotees into right-fighting opponents ... which is the exact opposite of the word "love." It is religion itself that is sinister.

It seems more like it's about teaching you debate and history, I was hoping for more. I can't wait to see what his Online University teaches. I hope it's not just humanities

No booklist. Just recommends authors: Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Solzhenitsyn, Orwell, Huxley, Nietzsche, Jung. And apparently Collodi (Pinocchio)
