It's very weird. I once considered myself a Marxist, am still deeply liberal, and would be proud to call myself a warrior for social justice. I treasure free speech for the exact reason Dr Peterson mentions in this talk, and can't understand why this content is objectionable. Did I miss something?

Unfortunately you can't expect uncivilized and irrational people to act civil and rational. The only flaw with Dr Peterson's lectures, is they require listening and thinking. How do we reach people who refuse to listen and think?

The crazy people insist and command that everyone listens to and agrees with them, and they express the desire that those who disagree with them are silenced so nobody else can listen to divergent ideas. jnjnelson you're right, they completely gave over their will to evil, that the leftist people no longer have freewill. The evil directs their minds and actions. They are exactly like robots or zombies. It's not limited to leftist people. The bible shows this crazy phenomena happen, when crazy people try to force God's people to do evil. Paul, a man of God wanted to go to Ephesus and heal their sick. But, when the people of Ephesus heard that Paul healed in the name of Jesus, the people gathered as one, and forced Paul out the city. One mindset is a very dangerous thing. Jordan Peterson talked about this in a video, he even used an example in the bible. The reason why it is dangerous is because the leaders often can have good intentions, but those with immoral desires turn the mob to do very atrocious actions. That explanation is more along a psychologists thinking. The bible explains why it happens from a different perspective. According to Paul, he wrote that when he witnessed these events, he saw that as people group together in one mind, evil angels begin to influence and direct the actions of the one-minded group. Mobs can go crazy, even without a "bad person" telling people to destroy things. I met a young man that believed in leftist ideas, and when my christian friend tried talking to him, he started behaving very strangely. The way a lot of leftist people behave. But, when i talked to him, his behavior started to become more normal. And he actually started talking to me. Sometimes i walk into situations praying to God to protect me from the evil angels, and things begin to go smoothly. Jordan Peterson went to give a talk, and the leftist, under evil influence, began behaving very crazy. If the leftist people had been inside, they could have pushed Jordan Peterson out the campus. That's what happened to Paul, he was forced out the city. As a christian, i am allowed to help other people, only if i do not tell people that i am a christian, and if i do not mention the name of Jesus. But, i can do nothing without Jesus, i can't heal anyone. Even Paul wrote that without Jesus, Paul could not heal people. Because the power to heal is Jesus. A Roman official saw this, and said to Jesus, "My child is ill, i am not worthy for you to be in my house, but i know if you say my child is healed, they will be healed, because the same way I, as an official, order my servant to go forth, they go forth, because i am a man of power and authority, and I recognize that you have power and authority over illness." Jesus was surprised at the Roman's words and said, "I have not seen so much faith in all of Israel." And in that same moment, the Roman's son was instantly healed. Wherever place Jesus is not, that place can be influenced by evil. So, when leftist gather, no one is safe. God honors the Republican party, because they align their platform with God. So when they gather, God is there. But the leftist platform is against God, so he does not stand among them, and evil begins standing among them, and the people turn into something else. Looking at the leftist people... no rational person would behave that way. They turn their will over to the evil that stands among them. America is starting to see the strange new battle that christians have been fighting in the spirit. It is a spiritual battle. Paul wrote, this strange battle is not fought with hands or with blood, but it is fought in the spirit. I believe Jordan Peterson is protected by God, because no leftist has yet laid a hand on him, as far as i've seen. They smashed their hands on the windows, and Jordan Peterson said, "they strike the windows, but they're trying to strike you." He says it in this same video. So far there hasn't been a fist fight, that has to be God protecting him. I've seen leftist people physically attack people. They will go that far. They are possessed by evil. If they can't touch Jordan Peterson, they will try to make him afraid, but he is not afraid. And this same video shows it, they tried to make him afraid, because they want to strike him, but they can't. God has to be protecting him. There is no other explanation i can think of as to why they haven't physically hit him. Regular people, regular republicans, have been physically beat by leftists. As much as leftists want to kill Jordan Peterson, he is too valuable, so he is protected. He has a mission, and everyone on a good mission gets adequate protection. Colton Noir is like Jordan Peterson. People on a good mission.
