Jordan Pond is one of the park's most pristine lakes, with outstanding surrounding mountain scenery. Glaciers carved the landscape, leaving behind numerous geological features.
It's a 3.1-mile loop trail near Mount Desert, Maine. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 55 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.
