everyone saying "he's a keyboard player": he was a child prodigy on piano, accepted to Julliard School of Music at a very young age. He's a highly classically trained pianist, and became one of the best keyboard players too.
@@joeybegoode9067doesn't get much stronger than Juilliard either. Getting into one of the best music schools in the world at the age of 9 is insane honestly.
As a DT fan since 1999 i have seen them almost 20 times.. this version of this song is my favourite..Jordan is the Mozard of our generation..He plays this lovely song on his own magical way with his typical style as fans knows.. wunderful and brilliant!❤🎉🎉🎉
Jordan Rudess and Rick Wakeman are the two best keyboard players of rock in may be the last 20 years; it is my humble opinion. I admire them very much!
He plays the song very well, but I think there is too much content and melodic ornaments in his interpretation, it quite disrupts the original character and version of the song, that's why I pressed dislike.
@@arturex4302 his style is more like adding in a lot of complex appregio, not rearrange the song better harmonize and better accompaniment. The more is not always the better.
So beautiful. I noticed only at the end there were two players. From Jordan I can expect he sounds like 4 handed, but the lady deserved some more space on the video mix.Surely shot by a Jordan addict. Thanks anyhow.
@@2.5k_ping56 Yeah, but he's not at the same level as those that went on to make a career of classical performance. He's obviously an amazing pianist still, just not quite at the aboslute top level.
@@gemsandlasers269 I very think that he is above that level... classical music is reall dificukólt, but have you seen him live with Dream Theater? Afterall thats just my opinion
@@gemsandlasers269 Can you play like this? Classical: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LeK_91QtVt4.html Neoclassical: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k6AHtF0PiL0.html
No student playing on this one! This was a duet with Judith Stillman, a friend of Jordan’s from Julliard since childhood. They played a series of duets this particular show!
