Jordan's Journey - The extended version.  

My heart completely shattered when I saw the poor little guy sitting in the chip bag...he was trying to find a dry place to sit and the only thing he was able to find was a chip bag. I hope that the heartless person who hurt him goes to hell.

After being so brutalized by a very sick human he allows Eldad to touch him. He was not afraid of him knowing he has a heart of gold and would help him. This man is a saint.

I literally cried when I seen little Jordan sitting there by himself on the chip bag. When they rescued him he wasn’t even aggressive he knew they were there to help. I wanna know where his abuser is I just wanna talk..

Whenever I have a bad day, I'll think of Jordan sitting in that storm drain, in an inch of water on a potato chip bag. This video shows the worst in humanity and the best. Good job Guys!

I cry in all of these saving dog videos who else?

The monster who did this doesn't deserve to live, how in the name of all that is holy is anyone capable of doing this to a poor defenceless little puppy... I seriously cried while watching this...

Imagine being pinned down, having you freaking leg sawed off, then being thrown down a 30 foot well, and then being left there with no food or water to die. Jordan you are the strongest dog on the planet 💪🙂

HOLY COW--i swear i just experienced the entire scope of human emotion in 9 minutes. i went from complete dejection and horror and lack of faith in humanity to absolute joy and love and having my confidence in people restored yet again. it's so awful to see a dog be treated so callously and in such a disgusting manner but it's so wonderful and even beautiful to see so many people working together to save the life of a poor little defenseless dog and CONTINUING to do so day after day. god damnit i love this video. you guys are great.

Jordans story is the saddest ive seen and it always gets me.

I don't own a dog, never have. But I watch this video 2 or 3 times a week. This dog has seen both war and hell. I've never seen anything with such a broken spirit with fear and defeat on its face than this amazing little creature. It seems as though he was in the river just waiting to die, and if suicide was possible, I believe he would have done it. Truly the heaviest video on RU-vid.

I couldn't help but break down in tears when Jordan rested his face into Eldad's hand. Iv never seen a dog so absolutely miserable. He's truly a miracle dog.

How can people be so mean to an animal that just wants love? I really don’t understand this type of cruelty.

I'm sitting here crying with my 5 year-old daughter, watching Jordan heal, not only physically, but emotionally. Thank You Hope for Paws.

We can’t forget how one person could be so cruel as to do this to an innocent puppy. But, let’s also remember the many people who were so kind to him: The rescuers, the vets and their staff, and his foster family. God bless them. And may his tormentor rot in hell.

This was the worst thing an animal could go through. But Jordan is such a brave dog that he was able to get pass all the hurt he endured. Now it's being loved and enjoying life. 🙏🏽

Happy to see over on facebook that Jordan (who has his own page) has been adopted by a lovely family and he is happy and well.

The second I saw him sitting on that chip bag I started crying

I am a grown man and when I watched this about 4 or 5 years ago and I cried so much when I saw him sitting on the plastic. Desperately trying to stay dry. Knowing that somebody can be so cruel to cut his leg off and throw him away like garbage just ripped my heart out. NO living creature should have to go through so much pain. I'm just happy that he is in a good place now and will be given the love that he deserves.

My favorite story! I think this was my first Hope for Paws rescue and that's why I love Jordan so much. Thank you guys for what you do. God bless you!

Poor puppy - too weak to run away. The dog's probably thinking -Are you going to hurt me,too.? If so, then get it over with.

Seeing him run like that at the end brought a huge smile to my face.

At the start i was full of outraged tears at his cruel treatment. Then as he was put through the various stages of recovery my tears were now of happiness at his new life. I'm sure the folk at H.F P don't think of themselves as being anything special. Let me assure you that you are very very special people.

I am 6ft 3, 250 lbs, former fireman, not much bothers me. When I see stuff like this I get like little girl and feel so sad, I cant explain the feeling.

Just seeing poor Jordan sitting on that packet in the water made me cry so hard. I'm so happy you guys rescued him and gave him a better life.

I am 73 years old and thought I have seen it all. This video literally had me in tears. I’m still hugging my little terrier. Saint Francis would be so proud of all of you for the fine work that you do.

Totally made my heart hurt when I saw him sitting on that chip bag shivering. And then to find out someone harmed and tortured him made it worse. We may not know who did this to that sweet innocent dog but God knows. Praying for conviction on his soul for what they did to that dog and any other animal they harmed along the way. So glad the dog survived and got to feel the love and kindness they so deserve. Thank you for helping!!

this is the saddest one i have seen among your videos. the fact that it was so hurt , that it was above a potato chip and the fact that this dog trust the man. aww such a loving dog. suffer so much internal and external.

I don't know when the last time I watched video what brought so many tears in my eays. It was a beautiful but I can't stand a fact people are a beast worst than animals...who can be cruel like this?...it was so hard to watch how he sits there suffering and just waiting for death but you show up Eldad and you gave him something what he didn't expect. ..a LIFE. That poor pup, I can't imagine what he must've been thinking and feeling when he was going through what he went through. People are so fucked and evil.

Extremely saddened. Being a Gulf War veteran, and witnessing past atrocious human behavior, this was gut-wrenching to watch in the comfort of my residence and to have been done to an innocent and benevolent soul - its will to survive is an example to us all. It is a better lesson to witness an amazing spirit conquer than to obsess with the hatred and immoral actions that brought this occurrence. An amazing story of resilience and bonding between the goodness of human nature and the illustration of an indomitable spirit between living factions; test well passed for the afterlife’s consideration of this tiny being.

This video tears at my heart! I'd go to jail if I caught someone that did that to a poor animal!!! He is such a BEAUTIFUL little boy! I have a rescue chihuahua named Nacho that lived on the side of the highway for 7 to 8 months and was finally caught. He is THE LOVE OF MY LIFE and been 8 years this June when we became best buddies! God blessed both of us!

I can't believe with only three legs how quick and nimble Jordan is. So happy that is life is sooooo much better now. Such an inspirational little dog. Thank you all concerned with helping Jordan and other less fortunate animals, you guys are "LEGENDS"!!!!

I worked in a vets when a dog was brought in after being knocked over and dragged by a bus. His hind leg was torn to pieces and the useless owner, who later abandoned him, left him with us for a few days before deciding to have the leg amputated. In that time he was ferocious and we could barely get near him, all due to the pain. Finally the vet performed the amputation and the following day I thought enough was enough and he had to be handled. I slung a sliplead on him and was stunned that he was a completely different dog. Without the pain of the limb and in a matter of a day he was running around and playing. I fell in love with him. He taught me that no matter what, we have to get up, keep going and live in the now. This video brought all of that back.

I cried so much for this little one I wish I could adopt him but I am in Australia. Thank you for rescuing him and giving all the love he so deserves xx

There's no redemption for people who hurt animals.

I watched this story 6 years (approx) back and I was broken and sobbing. How could anyone do something so evil, traumatic and agonising to a helpless little pup? I would love to know how Jordan's life panned out and hopefully he's still with us living his best life. God bless all those needy dogs and all the angels who save them.

I love you guys. I rescued a blind, diabetic 2 year old pup and had him for six years before he died of anal cancer. Best dog and friend I ever had. This mission is truly a calling. My dog was named Jordy. He’s been gone three weeks and I still grieve. But will rescue again if I can. Bless you!

Every time I see one of these where a dog has been hurt by a human it fills me with the maximum amount of sadness and rage that a person can take.

It's quite a long time ago now, but I hope he is still alive and well, or at least had a great life. One of the best moments to see is at 6.58, when he is cuddling in his basket and you can see, how comfortable and happy he is. Great job, saving all those poor dogs! 👍
