I worked in Saudi in 80's and had good relations with Jordanians, Syrians, Egyptians and more importantly with my Palestinian boss who loved Indians keeping aside religion. They are all love Indians and if you know little Arabic you will have more closer look into their culture. Nice video.

As of now, Jordan visa process has not been started but it will start soon. Contact Jordan Embassy, they will give you the dates when they will resume visa issuance.

Lousy Visa procedure. I was employed in a Senior position in SE Asia and was flying top airlines on Company paid trip. It took 1 month for visa. I stayed 1 day and was so pissed off that i spent weekend in Cyprus(then VOA for Indians).
Yes, Jordan Pass lena hoga. It will save you a lot of money. Jordan Pass is not Jordan Visa. It just includes Jordan Visa fees and Entrance fees for most of the popular tourist attractions in Jordan.
