Even a monster like Mike Tyson said he was scared in every fight before the fights started... so imagine other fighters they all are scared whoever says its noy scared its a fucking lier! Btw there is nothing wrong with that it doesn't make them less warriors.. even gladiators back then were very scared but one the fight started the fear was gone
@@ArjanTV being scared is natural. brave people are the ones who overcome the fear and continue to do the thing that scared them, to the point they break that fear. and its each time over and over again. people who say they dont fear anything, specially before a fight, are liars that are trying to look tough.
@@juggernuts1000 your dead right, I guess u wouldn't be a red blooded human if u weren't scared. I used to be a sprinter myself and now I look back on my career and I was even scared before each race. So just imagine being part of the fight game 😉🇨🇮🤜
@@michaelgeoghegan8850 yes, every human has a protective mechanism that tells him something is dangerous and he shouldnt do it and stay safe, only the brave take a step forward regardless this mechanism.
I was scared once too. A couple yrs ago I had to face a 3 layer double asada burrito with extra guacamole and two skinny ass pieces of toilet paper left and no gas in my car. I am proud to say I took down that burrito and it doesn't matter wat happened later cuz I shitted on myself. Point is, Don't be afraid to take risk
Jorge has shouted out Edwards numerous times so I knew it was coming but yeah it might not seem like it since he’s total commentator mode now but he used to be an absolute monster.
Well he we fighting gang members in kimbos back yard. Like that time he technically knocked out the one guy three times that well out weighed him at least one weight class (just RU-vid of Google it, but the guy was like Yoel Romero build and if you watch the video you will see what happens). The gang leader told the guy to keep getting up and fight. Masvidal literally had to fight the guy out to the street and to the car and leave. It's a spectacle to say the least. He literally fought his way out of there against a gang member with his home boys all around.
keenan walker I almost left the comment "did that guy just call him "a former street thug?". Fuck this sport has come far but shit like that is why WE ALL have to memorize a thousand gender neutral pronouns. No matter race, gender, etc. a lot of people haven't been shown their respect in this world. over compensating for it now gives a lot of people respect they haven't earned and the people that have still don't get what's owed to them.
I dont bother taking fighting tips from white folks where im from we get down and dirty and that kickboxing was asss ive seen better 3 years old throw better kicks then that
The great thing about Jorge is he is a calculated brawler. Unafraid both in giving and receiving shots. He may not be the most technical fighter, but he is one of the most willing to take the risk necessary to finish an opponent. Much respect for Masvidal!
shylo23 So, what you freely admit is you’re not of the right mind because your dumbass gives enough of a fuck to post a comment. Fucking loser lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@tommyranger9228 Do you even think that would be possible, Leon Edwards is a good fighter but talks too much instead of showing up. He could never punk masvidal.
Remember the head kick he landed on Josh Thompson (one of the most skilled fighters from AKA at the time)? I think a kick like could end Khabib's reign. Something unpredictable like that.
Complex Outlaw in MMA moving your head a lot is dangerous as compared to boxing. Often boxers will slip into knees and head kicks because their opponent timed their too often used head movement. In MMA head movement like Conor mcgregor or Israel is superior. Where there’s no head movement unless you are reacting to a strike while in boxing they are always slipping back and forth and bobbing and weaving which leaves them vulnerable to lots of attacks from the legs.
He was boxing like a professional boxer, good jab and combinations. It was like a science he went to the body and the head. One mistake and it would have been lights out against this striker. Jorge kept his composure and stayed focused. Very impressed with his boxing skills.
J MR maybe from u and a bunch of other idiots who don’t know shit about the game lol. He’s been had his credit from real people with the knowledge of mixed martial arts
Haha bro, incessantly referring to someone as "this individual" is how they talk in state prison. Jorge is as real as it gets. Been a fan since I saw him fight my homie James Krause years ago. Happy to see him blow up.
Facts.... I've never lost a fight and I've been in quite a few. 2 reasons for that. 1- I never started any fight so you fight harder when you are defending yourself... 2- I was scared to get beat up so I was super focused and fought hard as I could LMAO
Masvidal is so much bigger than him and on top of that the guy has no wrestling. He was the perfect match up for him. Him being scared of a fighter who he is bigger than and is a good match up for him doesn't make him a bad mfer.
@@TheWitchOvAgnesi Someone can be bold but losing their timing too. Not trying to take anything away from that Masvidal Win, but Yves was on the decline when they fought, for sure and Masvidal was on the up rise. That's a pretty accurate assessment I think. Considering their relative ages.
What a life lesson about training your mind to face your fears. Getting your body so you can be at your best and regardless of outcome walking in with a Warrior spirit!
I saw that fight live, I'll never forget my friend was saying Edwards would lose because he called his style at the time "Thugjitsu" and right when his leg was caught my friend was like "he's about to get wrecked now" and then Edwards knocked the other guy out with that knee. I was a fan from that point on haha!
Master Fushi You are actually so full of shit that it’s hilarious. The amount of time that it took for Masvidal to throw that knee, there is no way your friend called that. Askren went for a single and didn’t even touch masvidal. He just got laid out.
Easily my favourite UFC fighter. Such honesty. I really enjoyed the joint interview between Darren Till and Jorge before their fight. Spoke with integrity and conducted himself like a gentleman. Total respect.
You’re a beast bro. I was SO happy when you knocked out Ben Askren!!!! AND I’M FROM WISCONSIN!!!!! Lol. Do us all a favor and put Nate’s lights out too!!!!! You’re one of the best there is when you’re mentally and physically ready bro!!!!! Good luck!!!
Bro i been following your journey a TRUE inspiration brother. Love the youtube channel I Never would have thought you would start one but bro im glad you did. lets go CHAMP keep being a legend
Jorge's shaping up to be one of the most down to earth fighters in the UFC. Much more worthy of recognition and people's attention than Conor Mcgregor.
Jorge was considered a ”journeyman” who fought everywhere, Last of a dying breed that fought in more underwhelming promotion but more so every top fighters/ ex. champion at an era, That more impressive, as a fan i admit i wasnt to much into his style i prefer guys with knockouts but you have to appreciate his style of pure hard work and dedication, as a hardcore fan back in the day watching bodog/sengoku, pride mma those were my fondling memories of a sport i use to be obsessed with so its great to see how much of jorge grew into it remind me of the past mma fights that made me appreciate it back then so thanks for that, your name fit in perfectly for you “gamebred” google if you guys dont know what it means it just sounds cooler when searching the meaning of it jorge picture should pop up in the dictionary lol
I have more respect for gamebred and Diaz than I do for anyone else in the fight game. With that being said, I'm still taking the original gangster DIAZ. Can't wait!!!!!!
I love this guy , he got serious heart he fought guys bigger than himself in the kimbo days , never backed down , what makes him a man is being truthful and talking bout his fear , it’s like the soldiers invading Normandy and u see them vomiting and pissing themselves through nerves , wish the best to maavidal ❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🙏🏼🇵🇰
Your a trend setter Jorge, an animal in the ring and at training sessions but an absolute Gentleman and a great example to kids who want to attain their goals in life in general. Hats off to you sir. I'd love to meet with you 1 day if ur ever in Ireland I would try track u down just to spend 1 minute with you for sure. It wud be a minute I would always remember 😉🇨🇮🇨🇮🤛🏅🤜
@@jay-lm4we Ah well jesus 1 minute, if it was Ric Flair it would have to be an hour. Wasn't he the 1 hour man?? Ha ha. I'm sure Jorge is so busy these days if you got a minute with him ud be doing well.. Tho I'd take a crash course in self defense from him too if the offer was there.. just no knee's to the face please 😀
Diamond Dre but if you look at how many fights he’s had and the opponents he’s beat and even the ones that beat him there is no shame in that. Did has over 30 wins and never shied away from a fight, took on the toughest opponents there was. No way you can disrespect that
What is there not to love about JM? Extremely high fighter IQ, respectful when he needs to be, a disciplined soul with a warriors spirit. He’s everything the UFC needs in a fighter and man I’d love to meet him someday with my 15 year old son and 13 year old daughter. Keep it up GB!
King Nica idk man I think Usman would be the closest thing to an Edwards matchup Masvidal could get matched up against he definitely has improved tremendously since this fight but it’s not gonna be a cakewalk like Asskream
@@bertifekete465 If Usman gets hit like he did against Colby he will take a nap against Masvidal. Obviously he will just stick to him and wrestle fuck him into the floor if he's smart.
The way you fight is an art. I fought a UFC fighter on my first day at training for kragmaga (fuck spell check) he asked if ive been fighting all my life, i said nah this my first real fight with a real fighter. The way you fight reminds me of how i learn to fight. I see your train of thought. I watch you in slow motion. I got you
Figs3 Tyson didn’t have losses on his record like Edwards! Edwards had 16 losses over the same amount of fights Mike had 1! Using Mike as an example is bewildering!
saw jorge talking about higher ups in a couple interviews now. hope he stays solid and doesnt sell his soul to them devil worshippers. just the fact that he opposes them makes him my fav fighter. stay solid chico. from a muslim
Dude you are a warrior. I have been watching your fights since the day you started in the backyards. You are a beast a true warrior... all the success to you...👊
