"They belong to the stars in the clouds" gave it away for me. I knew it was about a loved ones death once I heard that. Then, every other lyric/line made sense.
This is my first time hearing this song and I’m glad I did. I lost my grandpa 3 months ago and I was supposed to go and see him later that week. Never got to say goodbye to him before he passed and I hate thinking about it cause I don’t wanna cry. I really needed this song.

The meaning behind my comment with "lil whatever's " etc // was basically me talking about all over rated artist in general , that are very popular and known world wide for their so called "music" !!
