Great, I enjoyed your analysis and explanation of the songs played on the spot each time especially how you hear it ( the guitar techniques, scales , chord progression and triads, etc). Surely, we all benefited from your guitar playing and teaching experiences.

Is there some kind of live auto tuning, or some kind of heavily processed insert fx, going on with her voice? If not, she's got an interesting timbre/style of singing. Interesting choice of guitar rhythmic accents too (first song so far, at least). The drummer is tight tight tight OMG. Yeah, they all have a vibe. Her voice sounds like that when she talks too... that's her timbre, cool.

Young people are just too young to realize they've been sold a bill of goods. This Jorja Smith sounds just like dozens of other singers who have that pouting, whiny style so common in young women. People who weren't raised listening to Ella, Streisand, Clooney, Etta James, Aretha, et al, just have no idea how average these new singers are. Smith is nothing unique, nothing special; she's one of many just like her.
