Jorma Kaukonen, George Porter, Geoff Achison - Live at Fur Peace Ranch 

I had the honor of seeing this impromptu jam session in person. It was during a workshop weekend at the Ranch when I was a student. This was a Sunday night and we were supposed to have a student jam around a bonfire…but the weather forced things inside and this session is the result. No discussion of a set list here, just three awesome musicians putting out some incredible music. It was a display of musicianship that any player would have been in awe. I had a perma-grin for days!
