Jose Canseco was one of the most intimidating monsters ever to come to bat, I’m a baseball fanatic & 62 years old, Canseco is the best RT handed hitter. I’ve seen, complete player & joy to watch in every game. Shame that a man with his stats and the first man with 40-40 in baseball is not in the HOF.

In that period, Dave Henderson was arguably the A's most valuable player. He was a team player, a clutch hitter and a good centerfielder. In 1989 he filled the void when Canseco was out, and in the playoffs and World Series he shined. Rickey Henderson and Jose Canseco got more attention and glory, but Dave Henderson came through often.
