Always liked Canseco. One of the only honest guys during those times.

Seen the play 20 times and I laugh every time . Reminds me when I was playing high school ball , playing catcher , and a runner was tagging up from 3rd and attempting to score on a sac fly . I’m waiting for the throw , runner heading home , and ump getting in position to make call . At the last second , I lose the ball in the Sun and duck down so as not to get hit . Ump takes the throw right between the headlights ! He goes down like a sack of potatoes , and I just fall into a convulsion of laughter . Ump had to be carried off the field and I was tossed for unsportsmanlike conduct . Still the funniest moment in my life .

He is my 2nd favorite player ever. Used to be my 1st. Ken Griffey Jr is my number 1. Canseco was the man!

I was at the game where he got traded. It was against the Orioles. We were in the upper box seats near the A's dugout. We saw Canseco get called over by somebody and then leave the field. Right then, of course, we couldn't figure out what on earth had happened. We cracked up later when we found out. It was the most bizarre thing I've ever seen at a game.

I know of a lady who tried to really ruin this guys life. Glad too see he dodged that...

Jose should be a hitting instructor in the game somewhere or an analyst. He’s well spoken and really knows the game well. Texas born and raised, it was cool watching him when I was a kid here.

I was in MTL watching the Jays/Expos, Joe was in left field for TO....Infielders/Outfielders were just taking warm up tosses from their positions, this guy seating behind me was just a blasting Jose, yelling everything you can think of and Jose looks at dude and lets a ball rip right by head!! lol...THe ball hits the seat behind him and roles down to me, still have the ball..

I'm glad he did these interviews. Diff than just seeing rapper stories etc Not that those are bad but its something different. I grew up playing baseball & was 1st sport I actually shined in before I gave it all up. Dudes like him were the top favorited players during those times. I dont think I can even name an active baseball player to this day now tht they are gone. So def nice to hear from him regardless of how things went down.
