Imagine hearing one of your classmates has died. A somber silence washes over the whole auditorium. Then the fucking transfer student in the back just shouts "fucking called it."
What I learned from Persona 4: - Vegetables are of extremely high value - Everyone has collapsed - The only reason Joseph beat the game was because of a speedo wearing leopard man dual wielding swords
@@kyanmori9272 I'm currently plating Persona 5R and dear god, no-physical damage is so good, specially if you combine it with counter and "triple counter damage"
@@Immadeus He is worse by several degrees, and it is not even close. Morgana is at least *useful* once in a while, and has some helpful tips occasionally. Also, has like something resembling a character arc. Teddy's just a bastard consistently, and an absolutely useless one at that. The only thing he is good for is making glasses.
There is no way Reload reaches the same heights as 5 and 4, just because of how small scale 3 us, considering it was the first to start all the sim stuff
I didn't see nearly as many as he did in his playthrough just due to which Social Links I prioritized. But if you go the wrong route that is a depressingly hilarious trend.
@@somecallmetheargentinian2242 he was at first , but than he was like you know what man I don't think it is you you are just a clown , so imagine having adachi as the first one to cross of your list :D
@@somecallmetheargentinian2242 Actually that's part of the reason why he decided to stop suspecting Adachi. He was thinking the game was smarter than that, he also said that there is no way they would make two identical villains for two games that are years apart.
@@kedalovo Man, maybe the game was just preparing for Persona 5 so they just did Adachi like that just so that anyone that plays p4 after p5 they might cross Adachi off the list first.
Source on this? Honestly I'm just reminded of the fact that the mihoyo ceo had an assassination attempt on him because they made bunny costumes for honkai
I don't even see this as all that prophetic when there's literally a "Dressing Room" button on the character menu. It only has options for the wings now but it seems pretty obvious what's coming with or without knowledge of trends in gacha games.
I absolutely adore the idea of the school at sakis funeral, yosuke is awestruck, maybe crying, then yu, standing right beside him, puts on a pair of sunglasses and just yells "FUCKIN CALLED IT" then walks out with 0 consequences
Some of the best memes that came out of this playthrough: "GREAT VEGETABLES" "[X] your [family member] collapsed!" "IT'S BECAUSE OF OSE JOE!" "Man..! A watermelon..!" " *Muffled sounds* ...What!?" "Yukiko, the CLASSMATE"
Speaking of collapsing every time I heard or saw the word collapsed in any game I just burst out laughing and say “I hate my dad” Specifically, because of a comic dub of persona 4
I think he knew what he was getting in for with his second persona game so was much better at picking out the silliness then with 5 where it took him a while to notice how much of a comedy is in the game. It will be fun to see him do persona 6 when it finally gets released, I'm sure there will be plenty of material to work with and also the asshats in his stream chat won't be able to flood him with spoilers all though the playthrough.
He threw Yosuke under the bus, watched him get runover, picked him back up, walked down the road and threw him under the same bus again. That explanation and helpful imagery killed me
Yeah, or his feigned disappointment every time a scene is too sexy pretending like it is beneath him but in reality any married man knows it is just because he will get chewed out for weeks by his wife if he shows even the smallest bit of interest in other women, even in video games.
@@gabrielabautista2966 i mentioned this in a comment but japan heavily emphasizes on producing their own foods. fruits, veggies, grains, all manner of produce. they focus on having it be home grown. they don't really like to import for cheaper prices, so a lot of their food is pricier than what you'd expect. watermelon is one of the more expensive fruits in japan because it's a summer fruit. you generally can only grow watermelon from may to september and it takes a lot of care to make sure they grow properly. it's especially bad in japan because they get hit with storms a *lot,* which can ruin the harvest. it's especially bad during summer. all those factors combined results in it being an expensive fruit.
@@thegumonyourshoes Sojiro is objectively better tho. He trusts Akira, barely more than a distant friend's kid, more than Dojima trusts his own nephew, and sooner too. He doesn't turn you in when he finds out you're a Phantom Thief and tells you to be careful, he supports you the whole time he knows, and he doesn't need to have it spelled the fuck out for him how to be a good dad to Futaba like Dojima needed for Nanako.
Well at some point it will be the last. Unless watching this everyday grants immortality. Then i would. But then i would want to shoot myself everytime anyone talks about vegetables.
Why. Why are these videos so rewatchable? I don't get it. I've watched it around 7 times now, and it only gets funnier with each rewatch. GREAT PROCRASTINATION.
So many memes. So many memes. Great vegetables. Collapsed. The fact that the whole run was just an asshole playthrough. MAN A WATERMELON, really just anything Kanji says. And of course the big man himself...OSE! Thank you for this
@@somecallmetheargentinian2242 Joe will play P3 one day and he will have half, if not all, of his Social Links reversed _by just putting his feet on the dorm._

is even funnier since in all the other romance options, Yu hugs like a normal person Yu hugged Yosuke with more care and love than he ever did with Rise
Yeah and I was watching this video in the morning and my toe was twisted when I was walking and I almost fell down... You could say that _we almost collapsed._
I still miss catching these streams live now, watching Joe react in real time was one hell of an experience. I wish the part where he argued with twitch chat about bone fractures for like an hour was included lmao These fucking streams have made me over-integrate the word "Great" in my daily life now. Anyway, great stream compilation.
I don't know if I could handle those streams live - the comments seem to just be non stop spam and he can't be expected to be continually hilarious for 4 hours straight so it's much more fun to watch the abridged versions of the playthroughs that cut out the boring stuff about his wife and kids so we can get on with having some great laughs.
I actually feel like a hypocrite for the whole senpai thing but probably opposite of how Joe feels. Naoto calling you Senpai feels the most normal as she probably says it the least out of the cast. When Kanji calls you Senpai it feels like he truly respects the MC like an older brother. But I swear to God every time Rise calls the MC Senpai it feels like shes screaming "Do you think I'm cute yet? I'm not going to stop saying Senpai until you think it's cute." It honestly feels like she milks it and knowing how she constantly tries to flirt with the MC she most definitely does it on purpose.
SAME. I can stand Naoto calling me Senpai and I think Kanji calling me that is allowed because I adore him... but the way Rise always said it on my playthrough always made me ignore her on purpose lmfao.
@@sergiosalazar8702 I also feel the same way about Yukari something about almost forcing a canon love interest rubs me the wrong way. I don't like the scenes where Makoto clings onto Joker in the main story because it also feels like the game is implying that shes the canon love interest even though I love Makoto as a character. The games give you a choice for a reason. As for my feelings for Rise, when I asked myself who I would rather hang out with of the Persona 4 cast would I want to hang out with in order from most to least it would be Kanji, Yosuke, Chie, Yukiko, Naoto, Yu, Teddie/Rise. Rise would be way to much for me to deal with in real life not to mention I feel like shes one of the most manipulative girls in a persona game right next to Futaba (which for some reason I sympathize more with) and I just wouldn't want to be around somebody that's like that.
@@joelss22 I personally don’t mind those scene that much since it’s the characters that matters and it’s 1 scene (unlike Rise who I really wanted to like). I agree that it’s a good thing that there’s no canon love interest so we, the player, could choose. Pretty based P4 “list” btw.
