I have such fond memories of this game, and especially looking back 8 years later, it's wild. I was Max's age when this game came out and at the time, I found the writing and depiction of people that age cringy, but endearing enough to not give up on it. But now, I feel like if you look past the specific word choices, there's a really authentic depiction of that age in here. It's got an intensely nostalgic atmosphere, and I think it's meant more for people reminiscing about their teen years than actual teens. Sorry for rambling, it's just that I'm watching Life Is Strange after years and it's bringing back so many memories! Great video as per usual, your editing adds a lot to the experience

Life is Strange (1), despite all of its flaws I’d readily admit to, was an important game to me growing up. It was an immensely fun experience to revisit Life is Strange. Firstly, thank you to Anu for providing the fan art of ‘Hella’ and making the ‘Hi’ graphic, as well as kicking off this series of events. Secondly, for the first time in an Abridged so far; I have actively replaced certain segments of the video with my own footage to make the narrative flow better. There were times in which Joe was talking to chat while important narrative bits were occurring. This makes sense for a Twitch playthrough as audience interaction is a big draw of Joe’s Streams. I tend to edit these moments out and focus on Joe’s interaction with the game itself. I hope these moments flow’d well and enhanced the youtube viewing experience. Without further adieu; Here’s the Q&A Comments 1) Where is Danganronpa Abridged? In editing hell. DRV3 has been a special kind of mess editing wise that has been slowing down the editing of it. Bit by bit I am making progress; but I’m making absolutely sure that the set up for DRV3 is all there in advance. When put all together; Danganronpa 1-V3 is longer than Persona 5’s streams (31 streams, roughly 180 hours versus 29 streams, 155 hours) and is far more plot intensive than P5. It’ll get done when it gets done. 2) When is Life is Strangemas Episode 2? I’m hoping for 2-3 weeks from now. Depends on how much my (final) semester demands of me. Life is Strange 1 has received its cuts and just needs final edits. 3) How many episodes and will you do Before the Storm, 2, and True Colors? I’m currently planning for one Abridged video to one Life is Strange Episode; could possibly condense LiS episodes 3 and 4 down into one Abridged Video but we’ll see. Before the Storm I would say it is likely to get a (singular) video; probably won’t be ‘Abridged’ as the game was not the best experience viewing wise for anyone involved. It does however probably have one of my favorite Joe Moments of all time towards the end. Life is Strange 2. I don’t want to talk about it. These are VODs I would say you could straight up skip and you'd miss nothing. It’s more likely the Hygiene rants in those videos will get a video. True Colors. Undecided as of right now. I figured he'd be drawing equations on the screen to suss out various details in design/writing/etc., but instead he's just being fun and hilarious. The lead writer of LiS (who also did some work on True Colors) went to my undergrad institution, Reed College. It’s really interesting how many subtle references (some not-so-subtle) there are to campus culture there. Needless to say, this game is pretty realistic 🦔💨

If you have time rewind powers, I think you prove it with something that neither of you have in common and is something that is absurd to guess. A scratch card would probably be the most obvious to me. Bonus points that you get to check all the scratch cards yourself first and make sure they get one with a decent win to really seal the deal. Though I think using it for something really mundane would be funny. Ruin the arcade by topping out the max score on every machine with your name because you get infinite tries. Perfect game of bowling every time. Never fail a coin flip. The kind of thing where if you said you had time rewind powers, it would explain it, but just being lucky or really skilled also does so they probably won't believe it. In fact, since you're a human TAS, you could speedrun games. Either intentionally barely beating current records just by perfecting movement, or absurd near-tas perfection from a totally new player so they all jump to call you a cheater but there's literally no evidence, so they have to just let it stand while being extremely confused.
