@@Graysett During VLR joe started calling the ‘transfer of conciousness from timeline to timeline’ morbin- but in ZTD the concept got expanded to include what happens to the original consciousness your transfer into from timeline to timeline. Like if you and I are the same person but in different timelines, when my conciousness is transfered to your body, your conciseness gets kicked out and goes into my body. In this stream the game basically says that is what Max is doing when she jumps into the pictures- but doesnt explain it into detial, but also doesnt matter or is a plotpoint or anything- XD

I think younger people with less life experience tend to dislike David because they can't empathize with him as easily but an adult knows any man willing to be a stepfather is a good person in his own right.

It's a shame the supernatural elements in the story, like the phantom deer and butterfly, don't go anywhere. It's like they were there to be symbolic, but it doesn't work in this kind of narrative.

It would be better if we stopped making problems smaller, and started making people bigger...

Depends. I’ve been working on this series since late December- it is overall less edit intensive than Persona series cause of the format of the game. Persona gives more opportunity for additional creative edits and motifs than LiS so that took more time. Next episode is probably going to take 3-4 weeks to come out.

As a serious answer to this; I usually only count the sociopath stuff if Max knows what's going to happen and yet choose to do it or nothing about it. Alternatively; a really really intrusive thought.

it's way more complicated than that. just because the light is frozen, doesn't mean you are - you're still a skeleton held together by muscles defying gravity, i.e. you don't stand still but move around ever so slightly trying to keep yourself from falling over. this means that your vision would go in and out when you stand still, seeing frames of reality as your head and eyes move forward and back instead of just darkness. also, because light is the fastest thing, it means that the only thing you can see in real life is the light that was meant to go in your eyes; there's nothing you can do to see the light that misses your eyes. but, because now it's frozen in place, you can perceive it when you walk, meaning that you can see everything except directly behind you. think of a mountain behind you. light bounces off of it and goes in the same direction you are facing so you don't see it because it doesn't hit your eyes. now that the light is frozen in time and space, you can walk into it and make it hit your eye thus seeing behind you. and since light bounces off of everything, in all directions, you can see a full 360 degree sphere around you, except for the laser like beam of light directly behind you that hits the back of your head instead of just missing it and being in front of the path you walk. this all assumes a simple eye that works like an exposure camera. there's all sorts of shit our brains do to make us perceive depth and colour in the way that we're used to. if there was a red truck in front of you and a blue house behind you, you could be seeing a photon of light from the truck and then the next one could be from the house and the next from the truck again and so on. there's no real way to tell how our brain would process that information (this comment may be incomprehensible because i have been drinking and also i'm not a native speaker. sorry about that!)

Time doesnt truly exist, in the end. Causality does, and we just found a concept to structure our life on earth around. "Time" behaves differently for things at different speeds because: It is causality. If something is a lot faster; it may experience more interactions and cause more interaction. Light is the fastest thing we know of, as photons tread the line between mass and energy. Thats why you cant freeze it. It has no actual molecules to behave differently upon experiencing temperature. Photons, transmitting, interacting, in all directions at all times, as often as physically (im)possible, therefore negating "time" as a concept for them; as the possible interactions of a photon on a path reach infinity. You cant localize a single photon after all, and you most likely cant know where it is going either (under most circumstances). But "time" doesnt stop for a photon, its just that its interactions become theoretically limitless. Why cant we become as fast and experience the feeling of limitless interaction, or perceiving unending interaction while all stands still, then? Because we have mass. And any mass needs infinite energy to reach true light speed. This is impossible. So sadly the only thing as close to having "time" (a concept of causality on earth) stop, is to completely leave earth at extreme speeds. You may have heard of the example where one of two twins goes go to space and one remains on earth. If one twin leaves earth at speeds so extreme that the rate of causality around him shifts to an extreme - f.e. causing 20y of "time" on earth to pass; while he moved at such brutal speeds through space, that he may have perceived the causality rate differently, for example only as only one year, allowing him to return to an earth where his twin is now 19y older than him. All of the possible interactions that the twin on earth has lived through in its "20 years", are about as many as the relative possible physical interactions that the space twin had in one "year". God, I explained that terribly, I should just go to sleep 😅
