Africans are the best Culture fans. I have never seen this much appreciation of Joseph Hill anywhere else. Not even in Jamaica. God bless Africa. God bless Kenya.
best Culture concert in Mr.Hills career........he told me so in Boston after seeing him 4 times in Boston in 3 years....100k Kenyans renditioning all Culture songs word to word....Amazing..HARAMBEE!
Oh my God, I love Kenyans, their response is electrifying, meaning they understand and appreciate Africanism, perhaps better put Pan- Africanism bcuz of their experience. I do love you guys so much for appreciating our own, and demonstrating that you know the issues of the global system designed to keep us down and exploited. You guys rock, I love u guyz to the core of my bone narrows. I wish I was in the midst of that enlightened crowd to add my voice/ to that magnifying chorus. Bless up Kenyans!!!!!!
Most Kenyans don't know their National Anthem but they know most Culture's songs verbatim. People underestimate the power of Reggae music - the music of Afrikans home and abroad. The backup singers were rendered totally useless on this leg of the tour. Though I consider myself superbly blessed to have had an opportunity to participate in a handful of Culture's glorious performances here in the good ole USA, how I wish I was there to welcome the father of the Afrikan Nation back home.
Who else attended this electrifying show by Joseph Hill and crew at the Impala Club Nairobi? I was thrilled! RIP Joseph Hill.. You entertained us your Kenyan fans.
@@sheilawandera1303 it was electrifying. 2004 it was in my youthful years. I really enjoyed and loved the chance. I had grown up listening to culture. I couldn't have missed.
My heart bleeds when I see men chopping each other up Kenya. I saw it Sierra Leon, brother Joseph was there and preach his message of stop the fussing and fighting. Now that Joseph Hill is resting in the arms of the Good Lord. I hope our brothers in Kenya will see the need to stop the mayhem and stop the killing. I really pray to God that sanity will rein in Kenya and brotherly and sisterly love will prevail. Lord Gbeteson

@culture77 Culture is arguably the most popular group in the world. It's unfortunate his followers cannot pay the dollars needed to award him the Grammys he so deserves. I am one of those who has recorded Culture cassettes and CDs free for lots of friends and have had others do the same for me - I believe Joe Hill just loves it to be this way. "Rule and Respect" for Iver!!
