This is a prime example of why the wrestling world needs Impact Wrestling. Might not do the numbers of your 3 letter companies but the wrestling is the most consistent out there.

I think this is like maybe, the third time ever. First was one hour impact, world title match, where the whole roster got involved. Between Angle, Christian and Rhino. 2nd was TJP hour match. Also, Lucha Underground did their all night long match, Puma vs Mundo.

I can only imagine what's going through Speedball's mind. Going from 5 years being banned from wrestling in the US to signing with Impact, crushing it in the independent scene, carrying the X-Division championship and division, to having a BANGER of a match for a world title? 2022 has been an incredible year for him. Hoping for much more success and an even better 2023 for him!

@@christianelvisrusso9975 he was banned from entering the United States because he attempted to enter the country without a work visa. I think he tried to get a visa through CZW. That took longer than expected but he already accepted a booking from EVOLVE.

@Realistically Speaking there's still great wrestling happening though. Impact isn't the easiest thing to find. They have an audience that is die hard and with matches like this it's easy to see why. They didn't have to tape this entire match and put it on their social media but they did, this can help grow their audience.

Just like that, we have our Match of The Year candidate. Even Bailey's in-ring psychology with his deteriorating left knee deserves the praise; the fact that he sold the knee injury not just from Josh abusing it with strikes and holds, but also from the "botches" somehow made it so believable that every attempt by Josh to execute the Ankle Lock legit looked so painful and is full of suspense.

Unbelievable match! When I first saw this video and the hour long duration, I was extremely excited. 1-hour broadways are a lost art in wrestling, whereas they used to have them all the time during the NWA/WWWF days. I knew this one was going to be tough though since they call it Impact Wrestling because they don't present technical wrestling, so the traditional approach of draining the clock with holds goes out the window, so that plus the clash of styles of Alexander and Bailey I knew it would be great. Thank you guys for giving me reason to keep believing in Impact. I hope Meltzer gives this the rating it deserves.

Tbf it don't matter what company it comes from a great match is a great match there's never any reason to give your full undying loyalty to a single wrestling promotion...if your a wrestling fan then just be a wrestling fan not a WWE or AEW or NJPW or etc exclusive fan all your doing with that is limiting your chance of appreciating quality wrestling content
