Has anyone else felt that this season feels more staged ? Less authentic. Even the music and editing skews more towards Selling Sunset, than what MDL used to be.

Josh was too easy on the kids. I would have told the mother in no uncertain terms that if her kids did anything else to sabotage the listing, it would cost her. And, yes I do feel that this season is staged.
I'd charge those parents every time their daughters interfere with a showing. Just like with renters who refuse to allow the agent to show the home to buyers.. the homeowner can be and should be charged for the inconvenience because it truly does mess with your ability to do your job appropriately which may impede your ability to sell the home and receive your commission
I think it’s honestly all staged that’s what everyone is saying anyways. But if you were right and it is true i would be getting extra money with all the trouble those spoiled brats are causing. Those kids won’t ever know what it’s like to live a normal middle class life where you can’t afford everything you want.
In what universe would the three girls be left there without their parents while the real estate agent is there to show ppl the house? I mean, the parents do want the house to sell, right?
I love Tracy but her segment was staged as well . So your telling me she had one day left to find a buyer or else she would have to tell her sister she doesn’t have an offer and just by luck during a heart felt talk with mom , and cameras there the call came in for offer . Final hour . Fake !
This is the most fake and cringie edit I’ve seen, you can tell this guy is acting. That’s how you know they don’t know what else to do with the show anymore
But the girls mum wow she’s crushing it, she didn’t even haggle for the price of her new home. Once she was set on moving and she saw the home and her girls loved it she was moved in by the next episode. 😮
I watched this episode last night. Those young girls were being little brats if you ask me. I understand that they want to say and not move out but what they did to Josh was mean. No one could do their work. The mother should have taken them out for a couple of hours. Take them to eat or go shopping something. This was so embarrassing for Josh. I felt really sorry for him.
It was definitely a producer-led storyline. The kids and mum could have go to the guest house. But instead the producer suggested the girls write the signs. The book dropped? Nope.
@@lizdobson9793 Actually if you've been following all these agents outside MDLLA, The Altman Brothers once did a house tour with those three brats like a year or two ago. The antics of those kids are real and the parents are just as terrible.
Liz Dobson the acting in this was incredibly bad. I had a feeling that this scenario actually took place at one time but if they’re going to reinact a situation then please give a disclaimer that you are reinacting and apologize that you are not real actors lol

Wait for someone with money to walk through the door that wants the house 5. Keep fingers crossed until escrow closes 6. Take credit for the sale

On James and David's listing, the wife of the developer became their co-listing agent. She was emotionally invested in the house she was butting heads with agents that have potential buyers.
She turned out to be a real pain, and David & James both knew it. She kept talking and interrupting the guys when they were talking about the house. She kept saying why this is a great feature and so is that, when it wasn't. The other woman broker was clearly getting frustrated with her, and David jumped in and said "Can I show you out?".
I’m so glad to see all the comments that is exactly what I came here to say. This show , with this episode literally brought down my intelligence to such a low that I didn’t know I could feel that stupid. It’s like they made an entirely different program all in one episode. As long as I mute this show then I’m good with looking at all the beautiful mansions and that’s about it. Can they blame this on the pandemic too? Are all the producers with any talent sick with Covid or are they collecting unemployment too? lol Or maybe they didn’t get vaccinated so they were fired? Haha just joking. But seriously, who are the people in charge of editing and producing? Was it those 3 little girls that were in charge of this show? Seems to be. Lol
Suzanne Somers and her husband later cheated Flagg out of his commission. They went behind his back and found a buyer themselves, even though he had been showing the house.
Gorgeous home, but yeah this was staged for television...I'm sure the owner's daughter was just dying to get on TV and the realtors/reality tv hosts agreed for some approved benefit or extra tip.

It's also the parent's fault for treating houses as investments rather than a forever home. They should've stopped doing it once the kids starts growing up and going to school.

The pandemic situation inherently requires most all TV shows will be more staged. It's understandable. Susan Summers property wasn't impressive. Pretty much the opposite.
