That's the crazy part. I think some assume he gets pity laughs when in reality, he's actually just better than most comics and happens to have a disability.
Unbelievable. I went to college with Josh, and I just found out he's on national TV. If you're wondering, he really does have cerebral palsy. When I knew him, he had more control over his right arm, though. Either his condition has worsened, or he's hamming it up a little for the stage :) He used to do stand-up at the open mic in the student activities building. ah, nostalgia. Go Josh!!!
mad, mad, mad props to this talented yet unfortunate dude. A guy that has the balls to go up on a stage and crack jokes like that deserves 100% respect.
This guy is an inspiration to all of us! He doesn't laugh at people making them feel down! He laughs at himself his on disabilities. This guy is amazing and hilarious!
I'm so proud of him. I remember meeting him at a family reunion (he's my second cousin) when I was really little, and even then, he was funny. He was always trying to make my little brother and I laugh, and though he may not remember me too well, I think I'll always remember him. :)
He was wonderful then and we’ve been enjoying him since. You go Josh! I’m a paraplegic so I truly appreciate the funny stuff about disability you share. Someone’s gotta do it and so far, you’re the very best at it.
Takes a hell of a lot of courage to get up in front of any crowd and doing whatever he does with the condition he has takes great guts and good on him for having a go he came across well , he knows what he is doing and good lucky Josh you are going alright son.
I use to have people laughing at what I used to say in high school didn’t know if I was funny or what, I have PD and was shaking a lot. I know my impression of Zorro in art class was kinda funny 😄
I watched this on live broadcast. Perhaps one of the best seasons of this show. Not Just Josh Blue but the whole contestants were very talented comics.
I saw a full set of his at the Bluebird in Denver ages ago...the guy still makes me laugh hysterically. I've got to admit - some of his "more vulgar" humor is pristine comedy.
"your all are going to hell for laughing at me"- part was BEST ! xD making fun of yourself is the BEST way to make people laugh, this guy has so much TALENT! i cant see his disability through the blessing of talent in him!
My respect for this guy goes through the absolute fuckig roof. He is a perfect iconic model for all those disabled people out there to show then not to dwell on it but make the best of it, and that's exactly what he does. Must respect man.
some of the best comedians are those that realize their shortcomings and are comfortable with themselves to laugh at it WITH the audience. Just look at Chris Farley!!
This guy came and spoke at my school, the first one he's ever been too. He's pretty freaking hilarious (: I got a picture with him, but the photographer butchered it, lol. I love this guy.
This guy is a wonderful inspiration. I used to stutter horribly but I got into theatre and magic and my confidence soared. Look up Lazy Legs, Max Malini, and Rene Lavand.
I love that this guy realizes his disabilities and makes jokes about it and understands that it is a joke. That is what comedians are, really great people.
Josh is so funny. i LMAO watching this clip. and it still funny. my fav joke is the drunk joke. "saricapolses" cop "thats a pretty big word for a drunk ass"LOL
