As a black person, Josh is the only white guy on business media I can identify with. The hip hop/ rap references, he's straight to the point with swag, he's doesnt hold these corny conservative or overly liberal political ideas. He doesnt double talk. He makes you feel like anybody can understand this game. He's built to be around for a long time! When he gets his own show, its gonna be game over for anyone else.

"Can't trust it." It's just marketing IMO. What has happened in the past month? Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see Josh going out to protest in the wake of the George Floyd murder. I did hear that he took PPP and then turned his twitter account to private after the story came out. Some people think that true selves come out during a crisis, and I'm inclined to believe it. What is Josh really doing for black people other than robbing their swag for his own personal branding? Is there a single black person in his firm? Is there even a single minority? Chuck D would probably puke if he observed Josh's actions. Just my opinion though.

Really good long-form interview. I thought I knew all of Josh Brown's "super-hero origin" story, but always new nuggets.

Josh roots for the underdog? LOL!! OK then. Just heard he took PPP. If true, a CEO of a financial firm doing that - wouldn't that technically be taking money from the underdog since those funds are limited and earmarked for suffering small businesses? Also looks like went into digital hiding in a heartbeat by turning his twitter account private once the PPP story surfaced. Seems like he was trying hard to seem down with by putting a picture of Public Enemy on his twitter profile. That group would probably hate a guy like Josh if they ever heard about the PPP stuff. This guy seems phony AF. He does not seem "reformed" at all.
