My mom was a teacher of blind students. She would play this song for them in her classroom. She was a mother figure to many of her kids and they loved her for it. As she was declining in her eighties, I'd play this for her and eventhough her memory was going from dementia and 89 years of life, she remembered this song and the words. Thank you for such inspiring music and for memories that never fade.

I love Josh's voice, but he didn't write this song. And many of his famous songs are written by other people, some songs he wrote himself, or co-wrote with someone. His early albums have fewer of his songs, and his later albums have more, although it doesn't matter. Everything sounds beautiful in his performance. It doesn't matter if it's a song from a musical, a cover version of someone's song, a song written by him, or written by someone for him.
Something that really sells me on an artist is when they can perform live and still sound great. Of course, I know the recorded versions can be beautiful and take a lot of work too, but just seeing this raw type of skill which doesn't need to be edited is so amazing. I've been on a Josh Groban fest these past couple of weeks and am just falling in love with his voice. Whether it's in English, Japanese, Spanish, French, or Italian, I'm adoring what I'm hearing from him

I am 76 years old and have bi-polar disorder. Josh Groban has sung me through many depressions and soothed me through many manic episodes. From the first time I heard him, and knowing he too suffers from depression at times has made him my absolute favorite. I LOVE THE MESSAGES FROM GOD! 'Don't Give Up' keeps me going; 'You Raise Me Up' puts me on God's shoulders...As long as I live, Josh, don't give up!
I am 79 next week and have Multiple Sclerosis progressive. But this man,Josh keeps me going! I used to suffer from depression but I take CBD oil and that keeps me stable! Josh don’t stop singing,you are great!xxxx

Two years ago, I lost my son to mental illness. We have yet to lay his ashes to rest. Hopefully, before the end of this year we will have a celebration of his life and inter him. My dream would be to have Josh sing “ To Where You are” at his party.
