JOsh always struck me as a very intelligent man who find his own beauty uncomfortable at times..I dont think he totally owns to it and I can imagine he is welcoming the signs of aging as it is adding some rawness to what was for a long time an angel face!! I do feel he has talent and always gives a very honest and soulful interpretation I wish him a long lasting career!
The problem is that he IS a very intelligent man who KEEPS playing in movies where his beauty outshines the narrative! So I dont think he's ever paid attention to the trajectory of his career except for what he mostly accepts. But it happens with a LOT of actors! Freddie Prinze Jr was another case of that where he failed to realize that he was being played for mostly his looks and not his talent or quality of work!
In the 2010s, he's mostly working on low-budget films, but his career hasn't been bad either. Blockbusters aren't the only thing actors do. He's a better actor than he used to be, and I think he's grown into a great actor.
Ashton kutcher was always selfish, josh hartnett was more talented but he was always keeping a low profile and a mysterious strength, that i liked to him
He started off with a slight British accent and switched to American. He's a good actor. Very underrated like Jake Gyllenhaal, John Cusack, and others.
Not if you’ve been made into a stereotypical heartthrob doing mega action films earlier. Also, the trilogy commitment would tie him down and he wanted indies.
