The Faculty , 40 Days and 40 Nights, Black Hawk Down, Lucky Number Slevin (my fav!), 30 Days Of Night, Sin City. Turns down Superman Lives!. Was even on Nolan's radar for Batman Begins,...then comes along Penny Dreadful. How many would bloody kill to have his career?!!!

The casting story is funny. Hartnett and Richie are neighbors. Ritchie says I’m shooting a movie. Hartnett says cool, can I be in it? Laughing. He had just finished Ida Red. Then Richie calls him up. A guy in a bit part dropped out. It’s a bit part, not really in the script, but if you want it, I’ll write you a character, just make it up as we go along. And so we have Josh Boy Sweat Dave in Wrath of Man😁

He is a multimillionaire. Has been working in the independent film industry for 20+ years. Does art house and foreign films, too. Does what he always wanted to do, fly under the radar and just do roles that are interesting to him, have actors/directors he wants to work with. Stepped into the limelight with 4 performances out in one year 2023 😁

He does independent films. Hated the Hollywood star show and walked away. He’s done at least 2 dozen indies in 20 years and occasionally steps into projects that are more accessible like Penny Dreadful, The Fear Index, Black Mirror S6, and Oppenheimer. I’ve been a huge fan of his for years!
