Every John Frusciante fan/lover/addict here knew about Josh and how good and talented he is even before he joined the band. We knew he would do a great job. We've all listened to him singing, playing guitar, bass, drums and so much more on some of John's solo records. Josh Klinghoffer is an amazing and incredible musician. But when I saw and heard him play this, I understood how fit he was for this job. This is pure art and emotion, it's beautiful. Playing for the Chili Peppers after John quitting is probably the trickiest and hardest job in the world. And Josh did great. This little piece of magic speaks for the man. Thank you for covering and posting, I have been looking for this for so long.
Peter, big thanks for what you are doing! It is really important, i must say you are my like teacher. A lot of tricks and technics i take from you, thank you! 🌶️💪
@Red Peter Guitaring Hey thanks for reply. No I mean without real pedals and lots of stuff. Just with Guitar Rig, PC, Monitors/Headphones and the Audio Interface. Everytime I watch your stuff I get so jealous of the juicy tone. Closest I got to this was with the Citrus Amp from Guitar Rig a little bit tweaked. But not quite there. Maybe would be a nice YT Video Series? I'd watch these! 🙂
Ah yeah of course, here i used distortion in guitar rig as well as the auto wah for the last part. I only used the jfx jf1 as a real pedal which gives gain and brillancy keeping the tone fat. There are a lot of covers of mine where i didn't had the pedalboard and everything Is Guitar rig. If i remember right i didn't had It from "One way traffic cover" to "reach out"
