Josh is a sweetheart in real life. But his roles are so complex and he plays them with such deep human shades!!! Incredible actor. You've got a treasure in your hands Netflix.
Yes, I love what you said, "he plays them with such deep human shades". He is really amazing at getting lost and saturated with the character he is playing. His face and body language is able to communicate all he is going through without one single word. I love him.
I first saw him in God's Own Country a couple of years ago. He's such a terrific actor. I love the vulnerability he brings to the characters he's playing.
Josh's portrayal of Charles in the Crown was beyond excellent. He made me pity him and like him immensely in season 3 for his soft character only to turn that around in season 4 where you find those same character traits caused him to be weak and selfish. He deserves every accolade he receives in my opinion.
such a wonderful "natural" actor and his seamless transition into character makes him so believable - never feels like hes "acting" and of course his wonderful charming demeanour and guy next door thing keeps making us come back for "more Josh"
Such a beautiful actor, not just in a visual sense but in the way he carries the sensitivity and vulnerability of his characters. So open and vivid his portrayals.
I love how he is so grounded after such a big achievement and his array of beautifully constructed roles defining every stride he makes in the industry. He has captured hearts unbelievably fast and he promises to forever keep that place. Bravo MY LOVE. Rightfully deserving. Josh forever. 💖
When I saw him in God's Own Country... I knew this guy was a magnificent actor. So glad he got worldwide attention via The Crown and can keep using his fabulous talents.
I loved him as Charles is third season, I hated him as well in fourth season ( his performance was astonishing!) then I watched The Durrels and loved him as well. The best thing about Josh apart from being an excelent actor is his charisma, you can notice that in the interviews
@@letizia6391 Yes I was! Tbh before Les Miserables I had never heard about him but after Les Miserables I continued to follow his acting career and he manages to impress me every time 🙂
I remember seeing him for the first time in Peaky Blinders many years ago and though his appearance was small he really stood out to me. I was honestly bummed that his role was so small. Now after seeing him in Challengers as well as The Crown, he is easily one of my favirote actors.
I saw him on "only you", " God's own country" and "Emma" besides "The Crown" of course. But God's own country is so amazing movie! Such a talented actor👏
I completely agree with you!!!!! IT'S A MASTERPIECE because of the great JOSH and ALEC brillant performances!!!!! and the beautiful love story!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I knew this since God's Own Country that Josh gonna be the new British rising star then after he cast on The Crown I'm more sure he's the new "it" boy along with Anya Taylor-Joy as the new "it" girl in British film industry and they both won Golden Globes, so glad both of their talent got recognition.
I bet he wouldnt fall to drugs. he said in lots of interviews that he spent his freetime reading, gardening, art and photography. He also said he doesnt really enjoy nightlifes, I havent see a single photo/video of him in clubs. Honestly his life persona just made him lovable even more.
There's a glaring omission here: Josh's performance as Marius Pontmercy in the Les Miserables limited series which was shown on public television here in the U.S.
Josh O'Connor is the most brilliant actor. My favourite role of his Prince Charles from The Crown. I didn't know he had such a vast career at a young age. He's a versatile actor and I would love to see rest of his work.😍
