They both totally nailed the rolls. I thought Erin's Anne was particularly spot on. I think the royals do watch it even if they say the don't... and both Charles and Anne would/should be happy to have such talents portraying them
Already binge watched the whole of the third series now, and I can confirm that both of these great actors did a bloody good job portraying the two great Royals.
They're already shooting season 4😍❤! Can't wait to binge it all in 3 days like season 3 and every season before that😅😂😂! Also Josh O'Connor is hot af and played Prince Charles peeerfectly... already fallen for this guy😱😂!
Season 3: I watched it predominantly for Olivia Colman. However. I could not believe how good Erin Doherty's Anne was and Josh O'Connor's Charles is possibly even better.
Josh has done a good job, especially with the speech and the walk and mannerisms. Erin has done a brilliant job, love every time she comes onscreen. Only time you'd normally see Anne rl was in military uniform or in horseriding competitions. Sorry, I don't have a crush on either, my heart belongs to Maeve Wiley. :p
The whole thing with the soup spoon is middle and upper class etiquette. The who idea of spooning away from you gently is that the hot soup slides over the cooler spoon before being taken to the mouth. That is the way I was brought up with Naval etiquette, I have lapsed in my more mature years to simply shovelling it in, lower class style. LOL
@bad1dobby Oh it makes sense, you don't immerse the entire spoon, only the edge away from you. Trust me, it works. I spent my entire life eating soup this way...except at home on the couch. The point being is that you do not immerse the entire spoon.
@bad1dobby ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-APabrqapTJA.html watch this then you will understand the spooning process, if you spoon towards yourself the you cannot run the soup over the cooler spoon and sip it from the other side.
They both are excellent actors in their roles. Really believable! I understand that the show is a pretty fictional narrative that’s built around actual people and events. But it’s still fun. As for the real Royals having so much stress. I think living pay cheque to pay cheque, worrying about mounting bills and everything associated with that is far more stressful.
Actually, I'd consider having everything taken care of for you and the entire course of your life plotted out for you by other people would be VERY stressful. Along with constant public scrutiny -- yech. At least us peasants get to fumble and fail in private and no one cares.
I've watched several of their co-interviews now and have thought exactly the same thing!! ... 😊 I thought a few more people would be commenting along these lines but so far, out of maybe 4-5 videos, I have only seen your comment about it. Maybe we are just awesome at pic,ing these kinds of things 😂😉
