Yes! A Stapleton song, and Josh sang the hell out of it. I really liked the rowdiness coming through, and he certainly gave it justice. Great performance!

rocking out all rough & tumble. He has a naturaly ease to his vocal with a little edge for good measure. This sounded great on him, like it was his song. The acapella was very pleasing. nice.

I’ve been saying Josh is a beast of a vocalist but people are gonna a sleep on how good he is because he is country. However, in his audition I heard that country soul. He said he was a worship leader and I was like oh yeah, he’s a beast. Reminds me of Todd Tillman a little bit. That rasp, that soul vibrato, that range, and his runs! He’s a such a great singer which such a cool and calm performance essence to him! He ATE this up! Josh really showed this week and I definitely this was his best performance so far. I do wish he would be more lively in his performance especially this song just feels like it needs electricity l, but it was still fantastic, especially the vocal performance!!!!!

I just first heard this song a few weeks ago when Chez Kane covered it. I liked it then, and I like it now. Josh Sanders version was also good. It's nice that I'm hearing some newer songs (from the past decade or so) on singing contest shows that I actually like. My taste in music tends to run from the 60s to early 90s. But, I like this song. I also liked the song Julia Gagnon sang on American Idol, "Something in Orange" and the song that I heard in a Voice Germany clip "Clown" originally by Emili Sande. Anyhow, the top 5 for this season of the Voice are all pretty good.

This was honestly my least favorite from Josh so far. Great song but could have been a better song choice. I wish he had chosen a more well known song. He still did a great job with it as his parts in the middle and end was great. Shaky beginning though.
