I appreciate that Josh Turner's music is never full of extra noise. No funky studio/synthetic sound effects, just... Music and singing. You can play his music around a fire with just a guitar and it still sounds right. That's talent right there, not propped up by anything except his voice.

Josh Turner’s songs should all be certified platinum and diamond by the RIAA. He sings with heart and soul. He is a down to earth family man who just loves to share his stories and love with the world ! He shouldn’t be recognized only for his music, but also the way he stays humble in the music business and in life itself.

@countrygirl countrymusiclover It's all subjective! I'm not much of a fan of those guys. I prefer the traditional sound of Josh. I do like some of Paisley's old songs though. But for my money, Josh is the best of this era, hands down!

In highschool I had the deepest voice and Josh Turner then and now has been my favorite country singer, I met my wife at 19 and the first song I sang and played on guitar for her was your man by Josh Turner. 9 years later and 3 kids and a house in the woods I have to tip my hat to you and your music Mr Turner.
