in a recent interview for season 2 with josh and matt (Hollywire) there was a game in which the interviewer would say some things from the interview they had for season 1 and the boys would have to guess who said or did those things. when she talked about olivia’s bad habit of moving her tongue inside her mouth when she was thinking josh couldn’t remember it I felt so heartbroken haha I’m fine

I honestly think that Liv is just tired from press and not necessarily sad. She is only 17 and she had a really big year which is obviously incredible but all of the new attention must be very overwhelming too and I’m sure she’s just trying to adjust but not getting much of a break rn with all of the press, filming and doing her own music.

@@kamerononeal4529 There is something that if u don't know it is called body language, because of Olivia's face or behavior, unlike other interviews she has had with Joshua, she shows more reluctance, they used to have an incredible chemestry. Apart from the interviews because although it sounds strange in the JOLIVIA moments lol There were videos in wich they look very very close, they did literally everything together Olivia's smile was noticeable before You can see the videos of them together and yeah we don't know what exactly happened o happens between them but a distance or something like that There is. (My opinion)

I really hope she is okay! She looks so unbelievably pretty in this video. Also I spent the entire night just watching videos about them, and idk I feel a bit bittersweet. One of the songs joshua wrote - not right now - I do hope it was meant to be for her, and that he does stay true to his word that he will come back for her (as per the song). Especially with her birthday being so close Feb! , :)

Obviously, they're being respectful to each other in the interviews. While I don't think they hate each other, there is a bit of an indifference/tension between them and it's evident especially with Olivia's mannerisms when Joshua speaks. In the early interviews when the show had just started they were so enthusiastic and always happy to talk about each other and now it seems like that just faded away towards the end of last year when news got out that he is supposedly dating sabrina. Notice the way how Olivia calls him Joshua now instead of Josh/Joshy and Joshua kept calling her "she" and only said her name once in the entire interview. Simple things like that let you know that something's off between them. And genuinely Olivia's face and tone when she talks about Joshua throughout this tells you that she is hurting.

Ok, here are my observations. Yes, Olivia definitely seemed a little tired throughout this interview and it could have been due to a number of things that we are unaware of. But speaking more generally, I genuinely feel like Josh and Olivia just aren't that close and never were. Yes, they are forced to at least be somewhat close by the show, but showed no interest in collaborating outside of HSMTMTS which was definitely kinda sad for me to hear as a fan of them! I also agree with what everyone else is saying - they definitely have barely spoken while in quarantine as Josh didn't know that she still had her parental lock. This further proves my theory that they just were never that close to begin with :/. BUT I guess some good news is that I genuinely feel like Julia and Larry, or Frankie and Joe, for example, are suppppper duper close - they seem super comfortable while talking with each other in videos and so there might be other more genuinely friendships within the cast that we don't give as much attention to. So I guess it might worth taking the focus off of this friendship and putting it onto others? idk. All in all, I will say that I did enjoy this interview! It was nice to see what Olivia and Josh have been up to and I hope we get some more interviews.

@@willow4811 it's an opinion, I have deduced. For example, just fairly recently, when Deja Vu was released, it has the line that says ,' I bet you tell her you love her between the chorus and the verse." That same day or the day after josh released like a four second video, that I believe he deleted, where he says, "I love you" with a snicker." So, that was one time where I think he reacted that many people didn't catch. Generally if he has to say something about Olivia he gives a nice answer about her, short and sweet. Recently too though, I saw something where a host played a game with Josh and Matt, that was called 'whi did that" I think is what they called it. Whereby the host would ask a question about a cast member who said it did so etching in an interview. The question that came up near the end was, who has a strange habit with their mouth. Matt got it pretty quick and Josh, for once, seemed lost. It was Olivia, and they showed the video where it was actually Josh who pointed out the bad habit about Olivia and Olivia then showed what it was. So, Josh is starting to.show signs. There are a handful of other things I could bring up. It's just my opinion, formed from the whole wealth of knowledge about what has happened between them and speculation as well.

You guys literally don’t know anything. I don’t know why people keep saying stuff as if they know their lives. All you know is what they show on social media which is only 15% of their lives so until they verbally say they dated, broke up, its now awkward etc., you shouldn’t believe that. As far as I can see they are still amazing friends with an amazing connection. Also live could be sad from other reasons it doesn’t always have to mean Josh. And them talking about how they inspire each other and push each other just goes to show how amazing their relationship is. People should focus on that instead of one moment in the interview about them writing a song together in the future and taking it a certain way because they have both said several times it was honor writing with each other and liv just said in their interview a week or so ago that she felt so lucky she got to write it with josh and josh just said on his commentary on Just for a moment a week ago that he had the honor of writing it with her. So people shouldn’t take one moment in this interview and say stuff about their relationship when most of the interview they are saying they inspire each other, push each other, and grow together.

I agree 100%. If they seem a little disconnected, it’s probably just because they haven’t seen each other in a while. We’re all in quarantine after all, everyone’s relationships have changed

Their chemistry was so damn evident during S1🌟 Not only could we see it.. But for some, we you could FEEL it. Same as in all their interviews the previous year. In recent interviews Olivia and Joshua's chemistry is SO different 😔.. During the interviews with the other cast members.. It's not as awkward as they seem more relaxed and like themselves (maybe because it's not just the 2 of them) This interview in particular.. I don't know if it was maybe just an off day.. But their answer and reaction at 15:00 makes me think something happened between the 2. If that collab question was asked during S1 press tour , these 2 would jump with joy and be much more excited to work on another song together. But this time, they barely reacted. Joshua was like whatevs and Olivia was just being sweet and polite about it. Unless... HSMTMTS won't have a S3..or... Maybe they secretly do hv one and want to surprise us?!?🤡 But still.. You would think these 2 insanely gifted artists would want to collab again?! People say we're all reading into it..but you can't fake chemistry or energy for that matter. And if something is not vibing.. You sort of can tell.. That being said. Hope the best for everyone! A lot is happening around the world.. And we all hv our good days and bad.. So who knows.. They could also just be tired and sad/stressed about the whole pandemic situation too! :((

I think that Olivia and Josh had something and then when they realized Olivia was underage or just took a break. and now that josh is with Sabrina ( not official yet) Olivia still has feelings, but josh doesn't anymore. I think that after josh started losing interest its not as normal with each other any more. Just a guess don't come at me because it could be something complete different.

I think people took this way out of proportion. Like they broke up, some couples aren’t meant to stay together forever. And since we only know her side of the story I don’t think it’s fair to target josh.

people are saying how it’s joshuas fault that’s liv is sad and they don’t have the same “connection” anymore. We really don’t know but they prob haven’t seen each other and people changed during lockdown. Everyone is going through something and it’s not our place to judge or make assumptions!!
