SOUTH IZ BACK! I'm a AJ fan and I can't deny that AJ doesn't sound confident to face Wilder in 2018. This interview does appear to sound like he's ducking Wilder. But Wilder gets no respect. He has been a pro for 10 years and only fought 40 bums all his career. His resume is the worst in history for a heavyweight champion. AJ with only 19 fights already had a better resume lol but I don't like fighters who delay fights and aren't confident.. It's the fighters job to say he wants all the best fighters.. Usually promoters are the ones that say let's marinate fight but in this situation Hearn wants to make the fight in 2018 and AJ is saying let it marinade I need to guide my career.
