What a beautiful place😍that place is in Mexico?a lot of cactus & good for morning walk area w/ someone😁wow a good breakfast👍😱an old cowboy country?or an Indian? Looks so hot 🥵 but a lot of some yummy food!place looks scary if U walked alone in there😱thank U so much for sharing U’re vlog🙏careful be safe always😊👋
I love Pioneertown! Glad to see that wonderful restaurant/ venue hanging in there. Saw some really groovy music and the best people watching there. Wonder if that motel next door made it through the covid times. And the ceramicist selling hippie mugs?
Thank you for the nice video. I loved hearing your pronunciation of some things it was awesome. I'm a two-guys pies fan, but I am going to try pie for the people I've always seen it, but never gone to. Never been much of a fan of Pappy and Harriet's. Been going to pioneer town before Pappy and Harriet were ever heard of since the early 1970s. Not that they're bad they're just not great. I imagine if I were into music, they would be much higher on the list for me. But being deaf, kind of dampers, that. Boos bakery in Joshua Tree and Luna bakery in Yucca Valley. Good places. By the way, you missed a spectacular place Country Kitchen in Joshua Tree. Awesome. If you venture down to Palm Desert, Paradise Café is to die for the best chicken, fried steak, and pancakes you ever want to eat. I might try that one place you mentioned because I have not found a good burger place in the high desert. John's place is kind of the best I found, and not the greatest. I feel local but I'm not really our family has owned property in Joshua tree and Yucca Valley since the early 1950s homesteading 5 acre parcels two different ones. 1 Yucca Valley and 1 Joshua tree. Now we're firmly fixed in Yucca Valley off of Woman Springs Rd. I love the high desert.
good choices, next time check out Country Kitchen, kitchen in the desert & La Copine (so many more: C&S, 29 Palms Inn, Red Dog Saloon). Also, for those driving to and from the 10, Delicias Mexican Cuisine in desert hot springs has the best Mexican food with menu items you've never heard of.
Dude you are funny you said Ucca Valley its Yucca valley😂😂 but im enjoying you visiting my stumping grounds i lived there 34yrs from 29palms joshua tree to PALMSPRINGS oh how i miss it i was a military WIFE in 29palms what a experience as a 23yr old coming from Maryland to the desert but i loved every minute of it thanks again i will continue to follow you on these BEAUTIFUL Tours 😊❤🙏
The one time I ever went to Pappy and Harriet's was one of my worst dining experiences ever. Service was bad, food was bad, price was awful. It was crowded. The chairs sucked. Also does this guy go out of his way to mispronounce as many words as possible? I must seem like a grump but I promise I'm not lol
The pleasure we derive from journeys is perhaps dependent more on the mindset with which we travel than on the destination we travel to!!!!! This was absolutely stunning to watch. Greate work, great edit...
Love JT I miss a lot of the food things since I usually spend all day hiking and watch the sunset. Definitely will make an effort for the pizza if they’re still open when I leave the park!
I think this episode had the most diverse food trail 🤩. That bison burger 🍔 looked delicious 😍. That reaction though at the end after you had the pizza 💯💯😄. You know a guy liked the pizza when he dances after eating it 😁😁.
I love your videos. I feel like I am with you when you eat at these different restaurants. I lived in Los Angeles half of my life and I didn't even know about these restaurants.❤❤
Getting a meal in Joshua Tree... EXPECTATION: walks in full of joy, grabs food, skips out with said food. REALITY: Takes 2 hours just waiting in a line of people on there phone, who give no fucks.... Such a small town being ruined by LA snobs and web rats....
Awesome video !!!! Me and my wife are visiting there last week of April 2023 we have been there twice and we just love it there we usually visit in January any tips you might add for that time of year ? Thanks cheers
I liked your video and all the food looked fantastic but I am baffled at how much for you are able to consume 😮😂 it’s crazy!!! 2 breakfast, 2 lunches and 2 dinners, all good sized! Boys got an appetite!
@gareth Leonard... if you ever go to places like East Mesa, Apache Junction, Phoenix, Goldfield, AZ. I can point to different taco places that I grew-up.
Joshua it’s my special place. It brings me so much joy and peace to go there. I’m glad you share all this food information. I always wonder if the pizza was good haha.thanks for that:)
I remember watching a you tube video were a Brit. thought it would be funny to jump into a very large jumping cactus, I know the nurse's enjoyed pulling them out.
Fell in live with Joshua Tree Park this summer. You've inspired me to come back! And those breakfasts look pretty incredible!!!! Pizza not quite as much but, hey, I live in Italy 😂
That was great. Have been to California but not Joshua tree. My son is on hol in Joshua tree just now from San Francisco . Food looks amazing. Wish I was there.
Best place to eat in Josha tree is in your camp site! Bring & cook some good $h!+. I might drive 45 minutes for dinner 1 night if I'm there for a week.
You hit a lot of the best places! But you definitely missed out on La Copine. La Copine is easily as good or better than Pappys, just a different vibe :)
I tried Pie for the People at Coachella 2012.. never forget, still daydream about their caramelized onions... one of the best pizzas I've had. First time seeing their actual business.. will definitely visit if I ever go to Joshua Tree!
I am always baffled by the amount of food you eat in these videos yet you look perfectly fit. What are you, about 30 years old? So you haven’t had time for your metabolism to slow down yet but I could never eat so many calories in a day 😱 May you always continue to have good health and to keep these wonderful videos coming !!! 🙏👍
Yeah thought he was about to bite off his finger with the pizza. I vividly remember being able to stay slender eating what I wanted. Ah, youth. Kind of assumed he filmed these various meals over several days, but you never know 😉
Haha, thank you very much Andrew. I try to work up an appetite between each meal with a long hike and exploration! 😀 and yes, these meals are over the course of two days (one breakfast, lunch and dinner each day) so not really too much in this video - not like the recent Tacos, Russia or Philippines videos!!
I plan on visiting JT later this year. Why no review of the Roadrunner deli in Joshua Tree? Gonna subscribe and hope you go back and add it to your Joshua tree reviews.
Thank you for the recommendation! All of these places I reviewed were recommended to me by local viewers. I will add Roadrunner for next time for sure! Cheers!
Perfectly awesome place... You really have that big appetite and mouth watering burger and pizza Really Enjoy watching your travel adventure stay safe 🙏.. From Livingword
My daughter and I will be visiting Joshua Tree next week on my vacation, this trip will also be her graduation gift. I love this video and it's real informative and I really enjoyed it. Thank you Gareth 🙂
Wow, man! That breakfast looked incredible, and so did the bison burger. Overall, it looks like you had a really nice adventure in Joshua Tree. Such a beautiful place with lots of interesting things to do!
Everything looked so good, but that pizza 🍕 must have been Amazing!!!! Anytime a person does a little dance and shimmy during a meal that says it all!! 🤣 Great spots👍🏽😁
