I disagree...If Francis got starched by Fury then your statement would be valid...but the fact that Francis nearly decapitated Fury and it was a competitive fight means that the boxing world was put on notice that he's a legit specimen and a fighter in general that needs to be respected and taken seriously...no shame losing to the former baddest man on the planet (thats reserved for the UFC champion on a technicality, because i believe he'd still be champ if he were in the UFC).

@coreyallen5041 Well, that's true, but I think Fury could reasonably have the excuse that he underestimated an mma fighter in his first boxing match. Huge upsets happen, but they shouldn't happen consecutively. AJ's team have some tape to study, and know roughly what to expect. The pressure on him here is huge because despite what happened against Fury, it definitely would still be embarrassing for AJ to lose.

@@janetjennings1032For real this is what makes this fight so interesting because if it was Francis vs Wilder, like Wilder would get folded by Francis and when he fought Fury I told everybody it would be a close fight simply because Fury can’t hurt Ngannou, I said that before the fight and it was apparent during the fight. But AJ is a different animal he can hurt Francis, but also Francis can hurt him back, and AJ can start overthinking in the ring to avoid taking risks. And as big a genetic freak as AJ has been his whole career this is the first time he is fighting somebody that is a bigger freak than him. Like Ngannou is a wide body that can take shots.

AJ is very wooden, a known science, and isn't a wrecking machine, poor recovery rate, can't sustain high energy output. Ngannou is brutal raw power.
