I have never ever watched a complete concert on RU-vid but I simply couldn’t stop watching this until the very last note. What an incredible artist.

Really wish that I'd been there. Great performance, great band, unbelievable singing by Joss and background vocals. I saw this when it first came out and continues to amaze me. She is a true soul singer. Love her to death!!

I was living in NYC back then and I can’t explain why I missed this show. But I do remember she was quoted as saying that Soul music found her in a sense, at the time it felt too arrogant, but I had to agree with her on it, upon buying Soul Session CD. To this day, I have not found better singer than her. Don’t name anybody near or under her age, She Is totally another dimension. Her voice! She is not falling under a category, nor being authentic, but she gives a new and distinct voice and timber to it. She encompasses by her voice and singing skill.

Excellent early-career performance at age 17. As introduced by Betty Wright, "Stone Soul Sista" Joss laid down unfettered, adolescent-pure soul/R&B in the mold of Janis and Teena Marie. Under EMI contract(2003-2010), her initial lead guitar A.J.Nilo (2003-4; 2010-2014) on 6 yr. "sabbatical", here replaced by David Gilmore(2004-05-06). Joss' initial primo drummer/musical director/current step-father Jonathan Joseph has here handed the sticks to Joss' 2nd (of 5, and most "physical") drummer(2004-2007) Caesar Griffin, affectionately referenced in blogs as "Animal" on drums, currently backing Taylor Dayne(2015). Loyal, steadfast Pete Iannacone on bass, Abel Pabon & Raymond Angry(?) on keyboards. Artia Lockett and Antonia Jennae were joined by Ellison Kendrick prior to this concert to form the "Fab 3" background vocalists, staying with Joss through 2014. This would comprise the concert/tour band until early 2007 when (after JB's untimely passing 12/25/06) Hollie Farris (lead trumpet) & Jeff Watkins (lead sax) incorporated BRASS into Joss' band, and Raphael Saadiq oversaw changes in lead guitar and drums during the production of "INTRODUCING JOSS STONE"(2007)

What great arrangements and cook'n performance by the band. It's easy to see why Joss was a star back then, and this copy of the concert has been, so far, glitch-free.

I first heard Joss stone on Greg Kinnear late night on CBS and Jones was the guest artist sitting in with the house band and she blew me away with her soulful voice and have loved her since.

At that time I was working in a Harlem bar and she was in the soundtrack selected by me ......together with Sarah Vaughn Ella Louis Miles Chet and Alpha Blondy ......fucking Good Times !!!!

It is sad that you don't know about this video and concert. If you discover it, great, but for those claiming to be a fan of hers, shame on you. Joss is better than Janis Joplin, and more honest and believable in her singing. If you can't feel her, you are missing out on something special.
