I feel like clearing things up for no reason but the Subtitles for the silver chariot fight were wrong its not making shadow clones the stand is moving so fast it can create after images
Sorry I’m late but JoJo Fun Fact: In the manga’s character page for Jotaro, which appeared during the Dark Blue Moon arc, it said that Jotaro believes that everyone can tell how he feels just by looking at him. Which effectively means that Jotaro is just a teenager who doesn’t understand body language, and that is hilarious to me! The ost 7:13 is called Virtuose Pope, also known as Kakyoin’s theme. Bonus Fun Fact: This Polnareef pose is actually possible 24:08
Also fun fact, this Jojo part was originally gonna be the final season. So the fact that the intro shows all the Jojos up to this point is sick (Johnathan first, Joseph second, and Jotaro to kickstart this part!)
I been waiting for more Jojo reactions!! I quickly subbed to you when seeing your consistently upbeat reactions and vibes man, it fr feels great to see you enjoy this anime!
Part 3 has some great OST. It’s like how I can imagine Bleach Naruto and One Piece has some OST tunes that you get instant nostalgia for, this does it for me
So: Gray Fly is the old guy, the stand user of Tower of Gray (the tarot card of The Tower), and he is a reference to Glenn Frey, the former band member of the The Eagles; Tower of Gray attack from the mouth is a reference to the alien's xenomorph mouth; Jean Pierre Polnareff (reference to the musician Michel Polnareff) is the french guy with the stand Silver Chariot (tarot card of the Chariot); his sister Sherry Polnareff refers the song "Tout Pour Ma Chérie" (everything for my darling) by the homonym singer; Impostor Captain Tennille is the guy with the stand Dark Blue Moon (tarot card of The Moon) and he refers the musical duo Captain & Tennille; the name of that girl is Anne because of the singer Anne Murray, and her name only appears in the end credits, not even in the manga; lastly Forever is the name of the orangutan, referencing the album Wu-Tang Forever, and its stand is Strength (tarot card of The Strength). Forever's lustful gaze towards the showering Anne may also be a callback to a similar scene in the 1986 horror film Link, where an intelligent orangutan stalks the female protagonist as she gets undressed for a bath. 25:30 all these poses come from fashion magazines and models poses.
Part 3 is comparable to the alabasta arc on One Piece, I guess just with Dio and his followers instead of Crocodile and his agents. Glad you don't mind it being 49 episodes
Believe it or not, but the Stand’s name (the ship) is Strenth. But the reason why the user is an orangutan’s name is Forever and it is because the Japanese spelling for Orangutan is similar to Wu Tang, as in Wu Tang Clan Forever. Tower of Gray is based on a song called Grey Fly. Dark Blue Moon gets its name from a Franky Sinatra song Blue Moon (it’s in Fallout New Vegas), the captain is named after Captain & Tennille, and the dub calls him Captain Dragon as that is his last name. Captain Daryl Frank Dragon. Also that song you wanted the name of is Noble Pope or some variation of Noble. Also Avdol’s attack, Crossfire Hurricane is a song.
@@retronoodles_but_cooler Oh, I see, I’ll correct it in a moment. I guess I got a bit confused because I watched it with my dad about a year and a half ago dubbed, so I was probably half remembering the name.
Oh god not the orangutan 😭 I’m already afraid of apes, jojos is not helping 😔 gotta be one of my least favourite episodes though, along with the Alessi arc but that’s pretty far into the series. My best mate is up to the episode before the alessi arc and idk how he’s gonna cope with it
26:41 after seeing this intro I went and watched the entirety of one piece film red (yes it’s my first time watching on piece, but I already know a lot about it) though technically it was a dragon ball daima short that got me to watch it but I found it funny that I go from that movie to seeing luffy here
Now, if I were you, I wouldn't exactly follow the stand stats, as in especially part 3 stands which are busted can still have low stats just so they won't be similar to jotaro, who obviously needs to have the strongest stand, also the stats don't exactly show the same thing (let's say there is stand who can punch with the same speed as a child but his ability is to shoot a rock going at the speed of sound, his speed stat would be A describing the ability and for a stand that punches fast and got no abilities the stat would also be A describing the punching speed)I recommend judging the stands from their feats and statement because I think that would be a bit more accurate
