Thank you Johanna. My dad was in the Air Force. We moved often. I know it was a challenge for my mom with 4 small children. I admire your ability to continue to create and make beauty through it all. I love how you pass your calmness and sense of wonder to your children and to your journals! Thank you.

I wish the camera was a bit closer and the image sharper so I could see the darling details of your journal. But, maybe you did it that way so people couldn't read your journaling. Just thought I would mention it. Thanks for the flip through, though!

Your journal is gorgeous! I love how chunky it is. The little Moonside journal looks really pretty. I donated to an Australian charity that puts watering stations out for the Koalas and other animals. Just the thought of the little guys getting stuck in trees tore at my heart. Best of luck on your move. We moved a lot when I was a kid. My Dad was in the Air Force and then he worked installing those huge computers that took up a whole room. This was back in the 60s. We lived in a few different states.

Can't wait to see what you do in the Moonside Parlor journal. I recently got a journal from her too. It's so pretty!

Wow! Found your channel through a person that mentioned you on Natasa’s (Treasure Books) page....I can see why she mentioned you! I really like how eclectic and unique your pages are....have not seen any journals like this (and I’ve been watching A LOT lol). My main takeaways are: 1) that “anything goes” with these journals....embrace your own personal style! 2) your use of the dark pages is so different and interesting...very well done...I don’t see dark pages very often...yours are fantastic. 3) your use of pressed flowers (I’ve been looking into that lately and plan to use them in my journaling. 4) PHOTOS!!! I want to use junk journals for scrapbooks and you have done this beautifully! I only worry about some of the elements not being acid free. I really enjoyed your flip through...it’s so interesting to see a journal that’s actually been journaled in!! I also have a huge houseplant collection...some of them have been with me for 30 or more years! They are like my kids lol. I take lots of pics of them too. New subbie here USA 🙂TYFS❤️🌿🦋

Some great ideas in your flip through. I love the painted pages with black paint and using a white pen, so thank you. I have one of your vintage linen printables set and LOVE them. Hoping to treat myself to a Christmas themed linen set later this year. Hope the packing and move goes well for you and the kids settle well in their new home. Loved the flip and your creative journaling style and bits. Ya know...I keep my movie tickets in a shadowbox and even untouched, unbothered, not in the sun - they STILL fade away. Some more than others. A good amount hang onto ink, but some still fade. It's like they use magic disappearing ink! Lol what's up with that!? 😂 It's almost like you have to laminate them to preserve them! Okay... Major digress haha. Thanks for the share Johanna! ❤️
