Your video came up in my feed today, and I just wanted to say thank you for sharing. I just recently started writing Morning Pages in April, and so far, I have found that it has helped me.
@Joy2Plan I agree, it is therapeutic. It seems like so many of my pages for the day end in prayer after pouring out all the emotions and things I struggle with it seems only fitting to surrender it in prayer to God. I have subscribed and hope to watch more videos soon.
I started morning pages in August using the composition notebook as well. I love it when I do it, but I’m not consistent yet. I did read Julia Cameron’s book and it is really inspiring if you can get past some of her viewpoints. I like the way she mentions for some people to think of writing these pages as letters to God. That helps me sometimes. As always, great video.
Just came across this video, I am intrigued. You said you write because you don’t want to forget. So do you go back and read them? Also do you keep another journal for other writings? This is interesting to me, thank you for sharing it
I don’t re-read my Morning pages but I have gone back to trace a memory. I also journal in other notebooks. I write more of daily memories in my planner and if I need more room, I’ll write in a journal. If I want to do a heart purge, then I’ll write that in my journal and not in my planner. I like to keep any journaling in my planner positive. All of my journals will go to my children when I pass. Thanks for watching! HTH! ❤️🤗
This was great. I do morning pgs to my Heavenly Father and have come closer to Him. Do you have a journal you don't want family to read? And how do you work that out if you do have that type of journal?BLESSINGS
I do have a journal that’s more private where I write things out when I’m grappling with an issue, but my family respects my privacy and they know not to touch anything without asking first. I wouldn’t be concerned if they read it, just upset if they went through my things without asking. I don’t keep it out in the open where anyone could have easy access to it, but it’s not anything that I would be embarrassed about if they read it. I have so many journals so it’s just stored with my other journals. For pages that I don’t want to be read again, I just rewrite over a previous entry to get something off my chest so although I wrote my thought down, it’s unreadable. I love this I haven't done morning pages journal in a while but I love composition notebooks! I'm gonna start doing noting pages in the new year I sadly can't write too small so is it bad I like use wid ruled pages to write?? Just wondering love the video!
It’s interesting to read and see how much I’ve progressed in my mental health and my walk with the Lord. I also laugh on how I blew things out of proportion at the time and the good memories and not so good throughout the years. Thanks for watching! ❤️🥰❤️
