I’m excited for you to have this solo-NYC trip! I remember being an adventurous soul in my twenties too - before I found my emotional support person. It’s important to remind ourselves how capable we really are, even if we prefer to have someone by our side most of the time. I hope you find some empowerment cruising the streets of the city and not buying any new bags 😉 (though no judgment if you pick up something new and shiny lol) I just love your videos about creating - I find them so inspiring. Chiefly because you are so honest and frank about the creative process and how to balance the desire to make pretty things but also maintaining a habit that benefits your mental health and wellbeing. Striking that balance is tough! But seeing you come on here and just do it is really refreshing. Thanks for sharing girlie and I hope you have a fabulous trip!

Appreciate your kind comments Brandon! And the support for letting me be open and honest with y’all! It’s definitely been a struggle this whole week to get over the anxiety of traveling alone but i’m also trying to be excited and make the best of this short trip. I can’t guarantee I won’t buy a new bag though 🤣 especially going to the flagship Coach store!! hahaha The balance is always hard to find and i’m so glad someone understands! I’m just happy to hear that people can relate to these struggles because I know social media is usually about putting on our absolute best and I just can’t find that relatable at all.

Thank you for sharing with us. A solo trip sounds wonderful. That’s something I haven’t done in a long time and can’t wait to do again. We have support systems that help us and trying to retrieve that independence is also just as important.💗 Honestly I love that you’re so multi residential! And the fact that youre SoCal/ LA based makes me excited because I am too! Hope you have a nice haul in NY (I’m guessing some of the sales tax is better than in Canada) 🙃

Thank you girly! I do sometimes miss LA but it’s definitely been a change of scenery for sure. I lived in NoHo for a long time! I usually go visit a couple of times a year.

I was SO excited to FINALLY try the A5 Slim "Jibun Techo" bc imo, this planner is so well made / they REALLY thought about everything, like it comes with so many useful extra pages + adding the "LIFE" and "IDEA" booklets to the actual planner is a genius idea💡- especially bc it barely doesn't give you any space for like "personalizing" the weekly spreads since they're already "pre-printed" to the FULLEST 😅 Probably bc of the Stalogy / the Moleskine "Dailies" (...) I've started to really appreciate having a vertical timeline - it's functional and you can make your daily sections look really nice when you're using different colored markers to mark the "timelines" - the VERY ONLY thing I didn't liked is that it's like REALLY "colorful" - so I thought the "BIZ" version, where everything is printed in black & grey would be perfect 🖤 I just wasn't sure if I should spend that much on ANOTHER planner (-system) since I'm giving rings another try ➕️ I really don't need ANOTHER planner anyways... 🙃 But when I've bought a pre-loved Roterfaden "Taschenbegleiter" from a girl on Facebook, we've started to talk a little & she was so kind to send me her unused Jibun Techo BIZ from last year with it to give it a try... Ughh... I'm not sure about it 🙈 LOVE that the BIZ version comes with that "mio paper" ( I THINK it's called ) - which is a little thicker 🖤 and it comes with EVERYTHING I'd need in a weekly section + they've got just the right width in the A5 Slim one 🖤 IDK if I'm being too picky about it 🤷🏼‍♀️ But what bothers me is that is has like "mixture" of Japanese & English language... It'd only take a few seconds to translate the Japanese parts... BUT bc there are ( also ) quite a lot of pages with subway maps from all kind of different citys in Japan, it's like you're being "constantly" remembered that you're using a planner which is made for Japanese people 🤷🏼‍♀️ Ughh... SORRY (!) for rambling THAT much about this planner... 🤭 I've just discovered your account ( LOVE IT 🖤 ) -/ watched a bunch of your videos and realized you're using-/ loving a lot of the same planners & journals like myself 😊 ➕️ It's SO NICE & interesting to hear your opinion about different planners etc. / what I like most is how you're using your Moleskine Expanded (!) 🩷💜 I'm so curious if you're STILL using your Jibun Techo 🤔😅 But maybe I'll find out myself since I've watched mostly your older videos, already excited to watch more of them 🖤 Actually I'm more active on Instagram / I'm barely watching planning-/ journaling related videos here on RU-vid but I just wanted to say that your account is a TRUE GEM 💎 - sometimes the algorithm can be AWESOME! 😄 ( hope you're not being shocked if you're seeing my HUGE comment, I tend to ramble way too much when it comes to planners in general 🙈 )

Sometimes we gotta be in our feelings before we put it in paper. Journaling has saved me so much and I know I can always come back to it. Be kind to yourself always. 🫶
