When I heard “emotionally connected to sand” I took it as a joke. After playing the game I understand......

There was one player I got really emotionally attached to because they guided me around the desert and showed me a bunch of little easter eggs that are hidden away in the dunes and they stuck by my side the whole way to the end of the level... I loved them... I think of them sometimes...

You should do a review on The Stanley Parable. From your videos, I am fairly certain you will LOVE that game. Arguably, the most meta and funny indie game ever made.

Damn, anakin Skywalker would hate this game.

In my playthrough, the players I played with were great. I waited for them, they waited for me. If one of us were to lose each other, we'd look around and ping a lot to find each other.

Idk what's going on, idk why I'm here, all I know is I'm very emotional right now and I am very compelled to climb that mountain at all costs

Journey is a must own. I think it's still the only game I've played that made me feel a sense of loss the first time i played it many years ago. The multi-player matchmaking is drop in drop out, so you can have that excitement of finding another person, be chirping wildly at each other, then go to grab an objective with them right behind you, only to chirp again and get no response. It's a bit heartbreaking, especially if you make almost your entire journey together, then lose them near to the end. It's worth noting that it's STILL worth it to grab this game as well. Play-throughs are very short, only like an hour if you're not doing too much exploring, and I still find myself going back and playing through it periodically. It's one of those games you just kinda leave on your system, and you can still frequently find others playing as well, so the experience is the same as it was when the game first released.

Give this to anyone who says "Games aren't art."

Bonus for if you collect all the little symbol things: Not only does your scarf get longer, but if you collect all of them (probably best to look up their locations because some are quite hidden) you can get a white robe to change into!

I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and gets everywhere.

I remember playing this game and someone lead me through the game, taking me around to get all the upgrades possible. When I stumbled, they waited for me. It was such an amazing experience, though they were probably trying to get the achievement for sticking with someone. Regardless, at the end of the game, after a loading screen, they were gone! We never got to finish together, something happened! I was heartbroken as fuck.

There are actually things to find if you explore in certain areas

Only problem would be that the stone guardian flying worm thingies shorten your scarf and there are no scarf replenishers when u first encounter them(or later). I arrived at snowy mountain and lost the entirety of me scarf. Good thing the light dudes replenish it temporarily.

I had an amazing journey with this white robe. She showed me all these amazing secrets and helped me get most of the scarves. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU WHITE ROBE!

Can you do a journey for glitchers?!? :333 there is literally hours and hours more to explore and adventure in out of bounds w/ companions, capture war machines, skypainting. This game is some beautiful and it seems like 95% of players only play 15% of the game

Wow. I remember my firend havign me try this...... I had a scarf that went off screen it was so long. And.. and...... god damn the feels... my heart.. it hurt... so bad

Shoutout to the person I played with who struggled alongside me through that one section towards the end where you have to hide behind structures to not get blown away by the mountain wind. We both struggled with that section but when you got through before I did you waited for me and pinged ocassionally which I took to be you cheering me on. Whoever and wherever you are I hope you're doing well

Hey there SuperButterBuns, I hope you are doing great! Also, I really hope that you could do a Sky: Children of Light for Beginners! It’s like Journey but much more bigger and it’s like a MMO! But, without the fighting and more so on panicking that you don’t get hit by GIANT CREATURE OF DARKNESS. Plus, you can play with your friends on it and it has a whole friend system as well!

Fun fact, they have a similar game on the App Store called Child of Light.

Wow. I just realized they copy and pasted this game to their newer game "Sky:Children of light" which is a mobile game. They have the honking, flying, the upgrading, the monsters,and the walking. Just wow. Anyway Sky is fun.

Dude, I CRIED at the end of Journey. A lot of people did. XD I watched a classmate play it during a group event in college. Very few dry eyes in the room. None of us knew how it was going to end. The few dry eyes in the room were just confused as to why the rest of us were just about sobbing. XD

My first playthrough, I played through the whole game in one sitting with some random person. Except the last like...10 minutes. It felt so lonely after they left.

Journey is fking FREE on the PS4, so there's absolutely no excuse not to get it if you have one.

Its been a "Journey" being subscribed to you buns.

I remember being like 7 or something and I needed to be baby-sat and I went a person's house, the child of that person one of my mom's students and blah blah blah but THEN they let me play video games, and I quote from the mother almost every night "Don't let her play that, it's violent." but one of the games was journey and for my Christmas (also around my birthday) I asked for a gaming console that allowed me to play Journey, but I got the Nintendo instead (that was still a godsend but I was kind of unhappy) and we downloaded a game on the iPad apparently connection to journey, and it was basically an aquarium game where you just watch fish swim and it was stupid. I remember being scared of the "giant fishies" and only letting the guy I was playing with deal with THAT and at one point we got ditched by a random guy in multiplayer, and then the second time we did multiplayer we were helped out by a while-colored journey guy who later during dinner the guy I was playing with and I said that we've never seen anyone that color, and I being an 7 year old said that if I chose a custom color I would go with pink, and now I'm content with the red. Really good game, brings back memories

You don't have to be a boring turd to beat it without upgrading your scarf. You can use cloth creatures and plants aka "nature" to stay airborne a lot of the time.
