Better Life Foundation is a brilliant show. I haven't seen any of American Mockumentary shows so no comparison there. BLF S1 and S2 both had hilarious dialogues and I loved the writing overall 💗💗💗
Abish is doing such a great job. So much research must have gone into those amazing questions. It's nice to see someone actually putting in some solid back end work.
Better Life Foundation is most underrated web series! It is genius and something very different. Although reminds a lot of The Office but who cares🤷🏼♀️ it’s awesome
This reminds me of a making of friends episode where they were discussing how they make an episode and this reminds me a bit of it how they discuss the show how they sit down are write the show. How the actors improvise and all.
The table is so small that the MacBook Air looks like one GIANT here 🤔 And, the ladies are struggling to fit in...the frame (obviously). Where is the symmetry guys? 🤔
It's so weird how instinctively protective I got about Season 1 when the group got into the bit about objectively it, the looks into the camera etc. I was literally Naveen in the uber pool ride going "well i thought it was perfect! stop collectively shitting on the show!" Like seriously its their own damn show ..am sure they would know better than anyone. But yea...as a viewer I loved Season 1!! And Season 2 is seamless :)
@@sadiyabaksh3816 even I really want to watch, the thing is due to some #metoo controversy it was taken down... But it's not taken down from hotstar of US, but u cannot access it through vpn, u need to have a original US hotstar account n from that u can watch it
@@tanayakale593 www.hotstar.com/gb/tv/better-life-foundation/16504/whos-the-boss/1000217109 Unfortunately, you'd need to pay for a month to hotstar GBP 6 (that's roughly about INR 500) and use a good UK VPN (I used Urban VPN add-in available on Edge and Chrome; select UK as the country)... I cancelled my subscription after watching the show and perhaps luckily got back the GBP 6 into my bank account as well! So no loss there.
By 'that Utsav', do you mean the extremely talented comedian who acted in various comedy shows but turned out to be a terrible man when he was charged of harrassment leading to the obliteration of his comedy career and him losing out on all of his friends all of a sudden, then yes. It is that Utsav.
Again u r writing. Why ??U can write after recording Abish. Why u behaving like a newcomer. Now don't say every day we learn.Abish I like every Sketch of urs. No need present urself as beginer.
@@Jas1singh The moment I clicked I hear this,so I commented and closed the video. Is it really that important to say these kind of stupid things in the name of comedy?
woah, Not just in the name of comedy, she can say it in the name of sad, angry, happy, awkward any feeling she wants. Guys tells jokes about dick all the time. You dont find it funny then u r not her audience, watch someone else but dont be like they do these stupid things in the name of comedy, they do much more than that watch her stand up sometime.
@@Jas1singh You are sounding stupid. What she said was unnecessary.Stop texting irrelevant stuff to prove your point right. You make no sense when you are trying to compare with the dick jokes among friends. And how could you find that funny?Even the boys reaction was pretty awkward.
Can't even lie with a straight face, all of you, it's no original inspiration but just blatantly plagiarised from "The Office" . Already intuited as if a bunch of desperate Steve Carell's fans just made up an Indian version with unproportionate cultural dissimilarity.
No. The genre is the same. Look for mockumentary (Modern Family, Parks and Recreation, Community etc.) on the internet. BLF has unique characters, situations and narratives. This, in no way is plagiarism. Just because you have seen "The Office" (which in fact is an adaptation of a show from the UK) doesn't mean that every mockumentary after that is plagiarized.
"The office" as a show in itself declares a difference of nuances and a sense of humour that is parochial to it's audience from the UK version, and hence is relateable AND rife for that matter. But this show just tries to supersede and derive an american point of view. Also the leading character's nuances are cussed with mimicking Steve Carell. At least a different perspective on mockumentary could have made it any less cringy.
x2 cygnus Not to shit on your rage but I hope you’re aware Steve Carrell’s Office is a mere yankee adaptation of Ricky Gervais’ brainchild. I dont know if you’ve watched the original version of Office but if you did, you’d hate the American version at how blatantly some of the jokes were lifted
I don't give a shit about what jokes were lifted or specified that i like the american version. xd They were narrated and performed differently. Not judging by your username but you should read comments properly before shitting.
@@sootheseeker not my cup of tea??? Funny coz i think you need to get a better taste of comedy..those guys looked dead and everything was so fucking forceful...even the judges knew that they just have to live with it coz they didn't had any choice...there are way way better stand-up comedian out there including these but i am not blind to like everything they make...
@@mrinalchoudhury7423 it's funny u found that funny.. Yet it still stands.. Not ur cup then don't. Some of the sets in queens and comicstaan were the best sets I saw in recent times. And better life along with not fit is perhaps the best mocumentary series India has to offer. Clearly reaching for the office standard. But yes kings vs queens was not my cup either. For ur sake I'll pray Kapil rehabs soon.
@Roh Fer it is possible.. Thats y I said its not his cup of tea. People can hv different taste for sure.. I was trying to probe his inclination through my jibe. But the reason y ppl like Kapil is the reason why comedy has not flourished in India as it could hv...
