Ar. Prakash describes his journey of learning natural buildings. How the traditional buildings in Palani - made with Flat Hourdi Brick Roof are repaired by re-creating the old technique. He also talks about how the traditional method of grinding lime, using a grinder driven by bulls. Other traditional methods of using lime, like ‘Vajram Flooring’ and ‘Karai Lime Plastering’ have also been discussed by him, from his experience of working in the state. Bamboo is also a local material used for construction in many parts of Tamil Nadu. See the bamboo building made by him in 2018.
