Hello, my crafty friend, and thanks for tuning in to my ancient Egyptian / Egyptology journal! This big book too me months to make, but it was worth it as I love the finished piece. The spine is adorned with a scarab made from real Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise and Carnelian, and inside, I've crafted vintage style postcards, popped in envelopes and tuck spots, and left tattered fabrics, golden threads and burlap edges sticking out to give the feeling that this may have been carried on an archaeological expedition or dup up from the sand. There will never be another journal quite like it, as most of the things inside are one of a kind, not just prints, and the cover was very laborious.
