I'm old enough to remember this release. Back in those days A.I. C.G.I. wasn't as smooth as it is today. Kids started taking penicillin just for kicks! And then Mickey Mouse appeared in Steamboat Willie, but a lot of people even chalked that up to some kind of fever dream and national hysteria brought on by the burgeoning electronic music scene. Fantastic and strange images of a movie that never was but should be. I love the weird alien statues and megalithic structures and that sense of wonder and foreboding this setting has.
I cannot for the life of me place a specific chronology or galaxy. It's so vacant, everyone else there is at the barter kiosks, or transit stations. The lines to the transit hubs must be ridiculous when the peripheral industrial interstellar transmitter stations, and energy conduit mechanisms are vacant. I will send another supply vendor from the Galactic Trade Council as soon as I can figure out where the hell that was! ❤
