When I look at these babies and the adopting parents, I truly believe that it’s still a wonderful world. There are many more nice, kind-hearted people around , who are bringing love and great comfort to the little ones. Blessings to them all!
Every time that mother squeals or cries the baby is startled...Not that there isn’t enough noise and confusion but that shrillness was really loud. Really cute baby...

The baby will never remember her new mom crying, or the commotion, or even the orphanage, although the orphanage has shaped the beginnings of her life. Bottom line, she was adopted by what appears to be loving parents and will be taken to the good old U.S. to grow up and live. God Bless these parents for loving her.
I am amazed at the rude comments here. These people travel far away willing to care for a child they don't know, often with special needs. They are abandoned by the dozens at China because they can not have more than one child there. Often girls are left behind. GOD BLESS these adopting parents and they strong will and courage.

If demand was not there $ not made this problem would be solved or greatly improved. 50k each tell me poor peasant girls aren't selling there girls for 3-500$ everything is donated to the trafficking house I meant orphanages so huge profit. It’s wrong the way the adoptive parents see the child for the first time. All the noise must traumatise them. Plus the way they were all put together seemed wrong, their humans not cattle.
I would be just like those mothers crying my eyes out 😭 from being so happy. I have 2 sons , one will 29 and the other 31 in the coming months. I miss having someone who depends on me and needs me .
It must be very hard for both parents and babies. They have the noise, new parents ant the parents don't know if it is going to work. Rushing around to get everything ready to go home and make the child theirs. Please give them all the support they need. They at leSt have given this child a home.
I was taught if you don’t have anything nice to say STFU. Emotions are what they are and are impossible to control. Within 24 hours the baby was laughing and smiling so back off.
Things aren't always NICE. Consequently, when observing something that upsets you or is against your moral standards, commenting on it will reflect that. That's life.

Two things I’ve found after watching a lot of these videos is comments about baby not smelling clean and babies seem so hungry. Is it because there aren’t enough Nannie’s to provide care to all the babies in orphanages? Hope they all get wonderful lives.
I watched a 2nd time and your poor little baby rarely smiled and I think she was traumatized by all of that silly crying coming from you. Even though your husband was smart enough to take the baby from you and tried to comfort her, you continued to look in her face, crying loudly which continued to scare her. I guess it’s hard for me to understand why you didn’t you realize how traumatic your behavior was to your little baby?
Gael Crane probably not, you really don’t think she did it on purpose do you; the woman was just overwhelmed with her feeling, she has a great husband who realised she needed time to be calmer and took the baby. We don’t know how we would act under these circumstances, we may be calm and some bright spark would say you were cold you might react like this and still be wrong in someone’s eyes. You know what they say about walk a mile in her shoes. !!
Agreed she scared that baby to death. Asian adults this kid is use to would never act like that. So this grown woman sobbing meant danger to this poor baby.
Go watch a couple more hundred China adoptions all those babies cry everyone one of them. And it's not from the happy parents it's from the baby auction they toss them into suddenly . Morons
barbara whitley Yes, i had my concerns it was done for show, and not a sincere cry! Here she was a mature woman, who got right in that babies face and carried on, frightening her KNOWING it was hurting her scared infant. Where is the maturity in that?
They need to develop a quieter better way to introduce these babies to their adoptive parents. This baby was absolutely terrified! The parents excitement and the noise added to her fright. We see this over and over in these gotcha videos. Surely, child welfare professionals in China could put their heads together and come up with a more humane, sensitive way to do this.

She seemed much more traumatized than her friends. It was that crying. Any fool should have known and prepared not to completly melt down the first time she picks up her baby. That was wrong and emotional is no excuse you had years to prepare anyone should know they have to be strong for their baby. Very ignorant and immature. First video the baby never smiled once in any of the pictures

I have seen quite a few of these types of videos. You can clearly see the parents with their cameras and phones. Soooo I wonder who’s making the money off all these videos and is that why there’s a room full of crying babies? There’s got to be a reason why
You’re entitled to your opinion but I’m just saying to make it easier for the child to do you know adjust I mean there’s nothing wrong with saying what I said and then you’re like I wouldn’t let you care for my child like I wasn’t giving you attitude, I was just saying the crying scares the baby either already scared OK let me put it this way. If it was me I would try to keep myself calm for the baby to the baby won’t be so stressed. I should’ve worded it that way, but I don’t have attitude.
