Journey to the Savage Planet is an upbeat first-person adventure and exploration game set on a bright and colorful alien world. As an employee of Kindred Aerospace, the “4th Best Interstellar Exploration Company,” explorers are dropped onto the uncharted planet AR-Y 26, a far-off rock filled with danger, mystery and many smelly alien creatures.
Kindred’s explorers have high hopes, but little equipment and no real plan. You’ll have to explore, fight, jump, scavenge, craft and explode your way across an uncharted world to determine if this strange planet is fit for human habitation.

I like how self explanatory the tiltle is. "Journey to Savage Planet" is basicaly an ad blurb that perfectly conveys all that there is to it.

Game is great! Sure you can finish it in 4 hours (main missions) (there's even a funny achievement for it) but the fact that you can explore at your own leisure and unlock more than the main mission needs is a big + for me. I LOVE exploring. I''d say if you purely followed the main mission and its instructions, you'd only experience like 40% of the game.

@B. Walsh I played no mans sky a couple of months ago after their millionth update. I started over and found myself enjoying it. There were several new things I uncovered, actually ran into other players. This game reminds me of no mans planet and like you said with extra detail. It should be easier to add items to a fixed location, but how well can one planet hold up? I think it must be massive, with lots of secrets.

Yeah the art style and basic movement is similar :) Though the game itself is quite different. For one, it's just one planet. For the other, you focus all your skills and upgrades (RPG-like skill tree) into exploring that one planet. It's a lot like slime rancher to. I'm definitely gonna get this game after I'm done grinding that new No Man's Sky helmet :D
