I love the little detail of when Buzzo gives Brad the joy for the first time, when he sinks back into the dark, the outline changes back into Buzzo as a child, that same child that was in love with Lisa, and the same child that was in Brad's Karate classes. Little details like that make this animation sooooo good. I love this so much

I feel bad for Brad, not only did he spend his whole life in regret but he goes on a whole quest to save one person he truly loves and gets betrayed by all of his friends and not only does he not die by the end, he become a blob of flesh that's only recognizable by its face.

I love the little detail of Lisa showing up and it’s Buzzo seeing her instead of Brad. You can see some unease with his face when she appears. Don’t know if that’s a detail you made on purpose, but I like it.

One thing that makes the ending just a tiny bit sadder is that if you go to the final zone with no party members, you fight “Illusion of Friends”, likely meaning that Brad isn’t actually killing his party members.

I don’t know why I’ve never envisioned brads party as his cornermen during the wrestling tournament but holy hell thats the best idea

At 1:23, when Buzzo fades into the darkness he turns into a younger version of himself

I like how you focus on character interaction,it's realy touching.Sadly the game doesn't show any chemistry between them ,but atleast some character have very emotional dialogue at the final showdown(like terry).I love your work and i am greatful that i found someone as talanted as you.

Watching this was so... so bittersweet. The game is a master piece and a tragedy. I get excited just thinking. This animatic gave me that same tragic and bittersweet feeling. After the music ended and the words “Will you hold me?” disappeared, I was left sitting quietly with only the sound of my breathing in my throat and tears in my eyes. This was amazing. Thank you

This took me back to such a nostalgic feeling of playing LISA for the first time. Brad Armstrong dealing with strange and fantastical things, as well as lighthearted jokes n some pretty alright gang members. Also the heartbreak of self destruction and how it can affect others, leading to a cycle. LOVE how you capture a lot of emotions and the sheer insanity of things (cute campfire scene, TERRIFYING WALLY) amazing work

i just joined the lisa craze . i'm a little late to the party but this animatic drove a KNIFE into me in the best way possible. i first discovered your channel through a good song never dies, which i've watched more times than i can count, and then taz... all of your animatics are absolutely spectacular, and you do such an incredible job at portraying so much EMOTION. i absolutely love lisa and this does it so much justice. god i love this animatic

I’d honestly like to see a fan mod where the only part members u get are Olan, Nern and Terry. The story would remain the same but I’d be more character focus on the gang then the quest to find Buddy.

I haven't even played this game. I didn't heed the warning at the beginning cause I wasnt paying attention. I don't know the story or anything... But this, this is beautiful. You have such a gift. I kept getting shivers as I watched this, even letting out a genuine gasp towards the end. Amazing job! I think I'm gonna play it now

This video is what made me start trying to beat the game with nothing but Terry Nern and Olan. I had my save screw up on the first run, and my second stalled at the hub with Wally's and the Tiger Man after I kind of hit a wall there and was really busy with school, but I still have every intention of following through some day

I love gour choice of having the joy's effects manifest as blue veins and eyes, makes such a good contrast with all the red that follows.

This hurt the most cause this was the party I had on my first playthrough. Feels bad man

For the people who cares. No, brad did not kill his friends. There's no way they could've reach brad without a boat. Even Shardy couldn't bc it was too rocky. Next, when you have less than 3 members. An enemy calls "illusion of friend" exist in their place. Brad was just hallucinating due to becoming a joy mutant. Also I just realized how nobody excepts Brad reacted to them being there. Finally, if brad was actually fight his friends then he would have gotten some exp (example: Brad fought Dyke and gain exp, so how would it be any different if he joined our team) Also a quick side note: you don't actually need to fight his team. Just beat Dyke and you win the fight.

I am happy to see more people giving this game the love it deserves How dare you remind me of the end of painful.

I just beat the game, and I was already quite sad. But after I have seen this, I am the big sad.

I just beat this game a couple days ago, It’s Now my favorite game of all time. Never laughed harder or cried harder with any piece of fiction. Literally a MASTERPIECE.

Ok basically this gamr caught my attention when hearing some sountracks, when i found this song i was like "o shit is jack stauber i wanna watch this but...the game seems good" so i just reached joyless ending 20mins ago, i cried kinda a lot and i am ready to watch this video Ok i could not enjoy more this game and this animation does a perfect job tellint the main events. Ima play Lisa the first and buy the dlc after. Definetly a great game

Every time I watch this I realize how grate the story of Lisa is, and how great this video is. It executed the Journey so well. Terry Nern and olan where literally everyone’s original party. In its core this video Isn’t really about Lisa or buddy its a story of four men who have been working together to survive in an unforgiving world, of how they became friends. And It all ended in tragedy.

There is *one* element of this game and LISA: the Joyful that hurts me more than anything else. Rando. He’s was genuinely nice person who was just seeking some love from the person he idolized and then he got mutilated. He tried to be nice to his master again after being rejected after not talking to him in years and he gets beaten within an inch of his life. He tried to dissuade his sister from disturbing the semblance of peace that was still there and she ignored him. He ended up dead for being a nice person.
